Cafe On The Pier – St. Annes-On-SeaAs a local I have tried many cafes but have to say that the quality of service and food is second to none ! The staff are extremely friendly and can't do enough to help ! The food is home cooked and excellent portions ! A must try in my book !
Cafe On The Pier – St. Annes-On-SeaHenry's catered my daughter's christening party last weekend and everything was excellent from start to finish. They completely took over all organisation for us, contacting the venue, organising plates, cutlery, table cloths etc. They set everything up for us in good time and it looked fantastic. The food was all made freshly on the morning of the event and we were complemented by every guest, saying it was the best buffet they had eaten at a christening doo. Thanks Charles and his team for a seamless service and fantastic food!! Definitely recommended for outside catering, the restaurants not bad either!!
Henry’s – LythamI have been eating at Johns restaurant for quite a few years now , first in the China Palace and now in the Golden Palace, and it is the best. No negative vibes from me, wonderful food, wonderful people. . Jack
Golden Palace – BlackpoolExcellent food n very good service.staff very friendly..Thanks Red Rose..
Red Rose Indian Restaurant – KirkhamI know I shouldn’t but I like Frankie and Bennys! YES it’s part of a chain, YES it’s noisy and YES it’s full of kids but the atmosphere is always good, the service friendly, the menu gives you lots of choice and the Italian-American theme works for me. We always go here before taking in a movie at the Odeon over the road.
Frankie and Bennys – BlackpoolVisited from Barcelona this past weekend to attend a Christening and couldn't wait to get a decent curry from The Dilraj! The food was delicious, hot and delivered quickly. We did have a few problems finding a menu online, why is it not on Sugarvine?? Definitely a great place to get your takeaway curry from though, highly recommend to all!
The Dilraj – St. Annes-On-SeaOrdered a takeaway last night it was the best dish I have ever had in a long time. Will be going there again.
Red Rose Indian Restaurant – KirkhamExcellent warm and friendly service from the staff. Ordered a takeaway to be delivered and the quality of the food was to a really high standard it was fresh and delicious. I would highly recommend Red Rose at Kirkham to all my family and friends. Delighted customer;)
Red Rose Indian Restaurant – KirkhamThanks for the two breakfasts this morning to 130 beach road. Also thanks for not returning the ten pound extra your delivery driver earned off me. I was expecting a phone call at close of play off you but im guessing a ten pound tip is worth more than repeat custom ?
Food for Thought – FleetwoodAfter viewing the early bird menu we decided to eat at Woks Cooking! The food from the starters of chicken n sweetcorn soup to the chicken pancake wraps with hoisin sauce and crispy shredded beef in a honey and spicy sauce was excellent!! In addition, the service was impeccable that actually complimented the standard of food served! So well recommend
Woks Cooking – LythamThe Eagle and Child really need a greeter as no one tells you where to sit or how to order etc. I enjoyed my Chilli, however my wife didnt like her veggie stroganoff at all. We did get a refund on that though. So fair play to them. Nice looking pub too in the pleasant village of Weeton.
The Eagle at Weeton – KirkhamThe County now offers top notch pizzas at a good price in better looking surroundings. A few of us shared a few pizzas. Thin crust with great combinations of ingredients. Would not expect quality pizza in a pub....However thats just what we had.
County Hotel – LythamQuite busy for a Monday night in January and when it was time to pay I understood why. We were asked if we had a promo code so I guess that this is the norm now for Pizza Express -- most people are there on the back of a special offer of some sort. (We weren’t, sadly.) We all enjoyed our food anyway and the only other point to note is that they put a 12.5 service charge on the bill. This might be the norm in London but it’s not yet the case up here. The fact that the server pointed it out and said it was optional makes me think it’s something they are not quite sure about yet.
Pizza Express – LythamOrdered a jalfrezi from here last night and a chicken tikka rogan josh, the rogan josh was good but the jalfrezi was dissapointing. Very little sauce and huge chunks of peppers. Don't get me wrong, it was tasty but I have had much better locally, and from here. It won't syop me ordering from here but I won't have the Jalfrezi again. The chilli massala is much much nicer!!
The Dilraj – St. Annes-On-SeaThank you Alison for your reply. Time has passed, and I think your post shows that the day my family visited was an "off day". Please note that my daughter and family have returned and enjoyed their visit. You obviously do care, and care deeply, so keep up your good work, and thanks again for taking so much notice of one bad day a time ago..
