We had a great time on Mother's Day. The meals were cooked to perfection and the staff were excellent. We will be going again.

Ferraris – Great EcclestonThe fish and chips at the Cottage on saturday were excellent. Great value at around £6 for fish, chips, peas, coke and bread and butter. Good service in extremely pleasant surroundings. The walls are covered with the celebrities that have dined there. A famous chippy with history.
The Cottage – BlackpoolExcellent food and very polite and friendly owners. Often get my breakfast here and am never disappointed. Small breakfast box for £1.50 is a bargain.
Nosh Sandwich Shop – BlackpoolBlue Diamond is a newish Indian restaurant on Highfield Road in Blackpool on the site of what used to be Plumbjabi. We turned up really quite late on a Friday night and they were more than happy to accommodate us despite the late hour. The food was excellent, catering to both the spicy and more bland tastes on our table, the service was friendly and the boss was still there keeping an eye on things. Recommended.
Blue Diamond – BlackpoolNever easy getting a table here at weekends which I guess is the sign of a good restaurant. The place has a really warm and welcoming buzz to it which is partly down to the simple, rustic decor and plenty down to Moses, the friendly Spanish owner who handles front-of-house. There’s paella, of course, plus a rib of beef that comes sliced on a wooden board which is to die for. Lots of other dishes to work your way through both from the main menu and the specials board.
Espanol – Poulton-Le-FyldeFantastic food brilliant portions and friendly staff and zoo is amazing! Couldn't ask for a better setting!
Zoo Catering – BlackpoolVisited with my wife a few days ago and had the best bacon on toast I have ever had! The toast was so thick, talk about doorsteps!! The bacon was high quality too. Service with a smile in a very quirky setting. Good fresh coffee. Well worth a visit!!
The Blackbird Tea and Coffee House – St. Annes-On-SeaThe best bacon butty I have had was at the Blackbird Cafe. Really nice place in an old bank I think. Used to be a video shop for years. Looks a lot nicer now.
The Blackbird Tea and Coffee House – St. Annes-On-SeaSunday Lunch at the Poulton Elk .....Told to not touch the plates as they were hot ....they weren't - they were cold as was the whole meal - tough roast beef, that tasted as tho it had been cooked, then stored in a pantry, (not a fridge!), and tasted stale- my shoe leather would have been easier to eat - bullet type Yorkshire puddings that the knife would not cut, pre-frozen warmed up veg and tinned garden peas!! - asked if I would like it heated up - I do not eat warmed up food - asked for my money back and did not re-order anything - was given a complimentary cup of coffee - wow actually was warm ...... Will not be recommending or returning anytime soon - eating area is a somewhat "upper class staff canteen" complete with the noise and unruly children running about everywhere! Should have known better really! Moral - you get exactly what you pay for - perhaps Weatherspoons think it is ok to offer pre-frozen, pre cooked food that has been warmed up to a very poor standard - but beware not good value for money wholesome food - staff entirely indifferent to my complaint! Emailed Weatherspoon head office following my visit - no response or feedback received - that was 3-weeks ago!
Poulton Elk JD Wetherspoons – Poulton-Le-FyldeEnjoyed a good Sunday lunch today to celebrate my wife's birthday with family .Excellent, friendly service, good choice of food, nice family atmosphere. Does what it sets out to do very well.
Ship at Elswick – Great EcclestonWe went to the Blackpool Nandos with a gift card. Food was good, service was slow and portions stingy for the price. Nevertheless we still think Nandos is a great dining brand.
Nandos – BlackpoolThis afternoon, using our deal monster voucher we enjoyed the best of fish , chips, mushy peas, and a pot of tea at Seafarers café in St Anne’s. The quality and size of the fried fish, chips and peas was very good, as was the service. Although the café was full, the service was quick and the attitude of the staff was efficient and friendly ,you can’t say that very often, unfortunately there was no room left for a pudding. Will definitely be returning for more of the same soon. 22 February 2014
Seafarers Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaFour of us went to the Wetherspoons Railway pub in Lytham. Two were snacking on chicken wings and chips. Two were eating Chilli and rice. All seemed satisfied and also enjoyed the beer, which there is rather a lot of. The only downside is the hike to use the gents.
The Railway Hotel – LythamBest fish and chips in the area. Dined in and the service was good too. Fish, chips and peas and a lovely cup of tea. Marvellous.
Taylors Fish And Chips – BlackpoolTwo return visits for a birthday celebration and a mid-week treat proved this restaurant is continuously top class. Excellent, plentiful food, beautiful decor and fab staff. Thank you Neal for excellent service on every visit. Can't recommend you highly enough and ooking forwrad to our next visit already.
