Tiggy Winkles Of Bond Street – BlackpoolI took my children for lunch and ordered the expensive childrens fish fingers and chips and pizza and chips. The portions were small and the pizza was horrible. I ordered the tomato pasta with bacon and peas, this looked lovely when it arrived until I noticed that it was swimming in 1/4 inch of greasy orange oil. We were very disappointed and won't be going back.
The Fairhaven – LythamWe really enjoyed our early bird meal so refreshing to find a place where the food and our satisfaction of it meant more than just taking our money. We are going to return with friends for more of the same and its a thumbs up to this restaurant both owners and staff thank you for a most enjoyable time.
Go Greek – BlackpoolThis is the best Indian Restaurant we have found on the Fylde. The food is excellent. Each dish is distinctive - fantastic flavours. We have tried others and keep coming back, they can't be beaten!
Red Fort – LythamWe called here last night for my wife's pre-birthday meal. We have been eating here on a regular basis, as we call here when we spend a few days in the vicinity. We cannot fault any of the food which is extremely good value for the money and which is more than sufficient for us. The staff are very amiable and they are more than happy to do anything for you. Nothing is too much trouble even when they are very busy. This will eventually be our Chinese restaurant when we move over this way.
Oriental Village – BisphamI have been to Oliver's twice before with "the girls" but last night we took "the boys" along for my birthday meal. It's the first time my husband has been. We both agree that the overall idea is very pleasing, bring your own wine, cosy atmosphere, good food, excellent friendly service, very good prices and stuffed to the gills (I couldn't resist a delicious pudding on my birthday!) We will certainly be going there repeatedly in the future. It suits all occasions.
Olivers – St. Annes-On-SeaExcellent Sunday lunch.Smart, polite and very obliging staff. Marks out of 10--15. Definitely one of the finest restaurants in the Fylde at a reasonable price.
Food excellent and service first class I'll definitely be back.
Ambrosinis – BlackpoolVery friendly welcome, quickly sat us down with menus and took pre-dinner drink order. Nice menu, very competitively priced, and a separate specials list. Seated quickly at a good table overlooking the casino floor, and iced tap water came immediately foolowed by the first courses. My wife had the cold salmon crown which was topped with prawns, I opted for garlic glazed mushrooms on toasted ciabatta, both dishes were generous in quantity and professionally presented. I requested my main course of ribeye steak to be cooked rare, and you would be amazed at how often I get questioned by restaurant staff, informing me that their chef prefers to cook it medium to rare, (I sometimes want to question the quality of their ribeye that doesn't allow for rare), however I was most impressed when I was asked if I wanted it 'blue' or just rare, and it came perfectly cooked as rare as I like it and well seasoned and tasty. Seabass fillets were again nicely presented, with a tomato based coulis thoughtfully on the side of the plate rather than smothering everything. Veg's and potatoes were ample, and unusually for us, we also both had a dessert, a lovely home made creme' brulee and enormous fresh strawberry meringue concoction that unfortunately beat me as I was by now fully sated. We had a very acceptable Pinot Gris again well priced at £14.00. Total bill including drink at the bar - £63.00. All this with exceptionally attentive and well trained staff means we will be back again very soon.
Grosvenor Casino Blackpool – BlackpoolOnly got three hygiene stars food not good
East Ocean Chinese Takeaway – KirkhamMy partner and i went there for the first time last night and wasnt impressed. The food was ok, nothing special and weve certainly had better in other indian restaurants. The staff werent particulary friendly and not at all welcoming and fail to see how its been classed as the best indian restaurant in st annes. We wont be going back there.
Moghul Tandoori Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaOur first visit to Fleetwood and arrived on midday looked around at eating places and decided on Cafe Royal. Wow! what an experience------we decided on a light lunch of caramelized onion
The Cafe Royal – FleetwoodGreat service good hot food nothing is to much trouble.
Red Fort – LythamFirst I would like to say that the food I have just ordered is quite possibly the most bland and tasteless jalfrezi I have ever had the misfortune of ordering. My wife's 'prawn' curry came in some kind of soup with half a pack of the smallest frozen prawns I have ever seen. Far from the fresh tandoori cooked prawns I am used to. Popadoms apparently don't come with chilli pickle anymore. Oh yeah and the chicken in my jalfrezi had just been thrown in the sauce and cooked off so it was tough, wouldn't have hurt them to cook it in the tandoor. All in all - just complete pants!!!
Gulshan Tandoori Takeaway – BlackpoolWithout doubt the worst coffee I have ever tasted. My americano arrived in a glass latte cup (?)and was so weak and tasteless I could acually look through the glass. I wasn't even offered any sugar.
Cornmill, The – Poulton-Le-FyldeWe went to Mews Thai last Thursday as they had a music night upstairs, a girl called Caroline entertained as we ate what I thought was really really good food..... It was one of the best nights I've ever had in a restaurant. Yummy food and first class entertainment. Highly recommended! :-D
Mews Thai – Poulton-Le-FyldeGone very expensive, and the chips are none to clever, very floury tasting and hard.
Seniors – BlackpoolWe intended to visit Go Greek when it first opened but didn't for various reasons - BIG MISTAKE. The food is fabulous, the owners and staff very friendly and helpful. Been many times now, the early bird menu is exceptional value. be back soon!
