Just had Wok Wow and was really disapointed after having heard really good things about it. The prawn toast were really small and the lemon in the box spoliled the flavour. The ribs were fatty and the bbq sauce was not thick and sticky. The Chow mein lacked flavour. The sweet and sour sauce was also lacking in flavour. The prawn crackers were nice. The majority of the meal has been left as it was not enjoyed and went cold very quickly. Very disappointing.

Just been to Gennars and it was buzzin'. There were two large parties as well as several other tables of twos and fours etc. and we as a table for two, thought the service would be frantic and we'd have to wait for ages - but how wrong we could be. Considering how busy they were, the service and staff were simply great and always with a smile. We have been before and the food as ever was brilliant - for us they still have to top spot for serving a really good steak. Well done all at Gennars!

i retract my last statement,i have since had a conversation with the owner and been informed the head waiter made a mistake and our table is fine.so stil a cux service issue,bt nt with the owners.

we bkd ths restaurant over 4weeks ago for a birthday, we have people traveling frm manchester for ths and have been looking forward to it.the nite b4 we are due to go a mesage is left on our phone to say there was a mistake and they could nt seat us until 1hour 30mins later than the time we bkd. after caling bk several times and leaving several msgs for them,they stil havent botherd to ring back. as u can imagine we are extremely disappointd and angry ,and nw hav been left tryin to find a table elsewhere for a birthday celebration tonight. i have never experienced such shoddy customer service and certainly wil be telling al my friends nt to bother going there

John and I visited for the first time 29 Jan 2013 and found it to be very much in the thai characterful and welcoming.The food service was of the highest standard freshly prepared and presented by friendly and helpful staff. I would highly recommend all to visit. It may take some finding hidden behind St Chads Church haply known as the Mews but a must to locate. Derek Mitchell.

Distinctly average, eaten a few things from the chefs specials on their huge menu. Fairly priced, plus they have five stars scores on the doors which shines through in their food. Sometimes it seems though the food may be two or three days old and just reheated, which is annoying! Soggy peppers and rock hard water chestnuts have let it down in the past. Still, better than cfc, best bites, jononi balti, the Nile and the good fortune house.

Absolutely brilliant every time. Food sensational, staff so friendly and helpful.

Had lunch on Saturday with the wife. We both had burgers which were good. It was quite busy which was good to see for a new place. There is so much on the menu I am sure we will return to try different things. The pizzas looked huge! Well worth a visit. We used the Sugarvine 2 for 1 deal.

Even though this place has been here for years and years I had never actually been before. It’s up a flight of stairs so not the easiest place to stumble upon if you don’t know it’s there. We went on a snowy Friday night and got a nice table for two looking out over Poulton. It’s got a slightly old school feel about it but is clearly a popular venue as by the time we left it was really filling up (and this was the middle of January when most people have neither the money nor the inclination to eat out). Only had garlic bread (tasty but a little soggy) and lasagne (very moreish, albeit in the sloppy English style). Also a bottle of red which the waiter decanted at the table which was a nice touch. Menu had loads of choice and there was a specials menu too with stuff like beef stroganoff. Poulton has a lot of restaurants these days – including four Italians at last count – but Rico’s seems to have carved out its own little niche.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. WE WAITED FOR OVER ONE HOUR AND STILL HADN'T RECEIVED OUR FOOD. FRIENDS HAVE ALSO HAD TO WAIT OVER TWO HOURS!!!! DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE WAIT!!!

This place has a new lease of life about it now new owners have taken over. The menu now features "Gourmet sandwiches" which are absolutely out of this world!! IF YOU LIVE IN ST.ANNES YOU MUST TRY THIS PLACE!!! I have tried the Monte Cubano (fantastic!!), the Reuben (awesome!!), and the Chicken with marinara sauce and peccorino (sensational!!). These are the absolute best sandwiches availble on the Fylde, anywhere, at very affordable prices. Highly recommended to everyone!!

I don't often write reviews however after visiting Mews last night I feel compelled to tell anyone and everyone about my experience. A large group of colleagues and I (10+) arrived to be greeted by very friendly staff. The service was impeccable and prompt (without being rushed). A number of the party ordered from the set menu, however I ordered from the standard menu. The portions are very generous and very reasonably priced. I ordered the Thai dumplings in garlic and chilli sauce to start, I was served 8 or so large dumplings with a beautiful light dressing I then opted for the chicken in chilli oil with some soft noodles which were DIVINE!! As we were a large party, we did share a lot of the different meals, I was lucky enough to try pad Thai, Thai green curry, Siamese chicken along with a few others, all of the dishes made you want to keep eating til you burst. The bill in total was around the £150 mark, not bad considering all 10 of us had 2 courses each. All in all I was very impressed with this restaurant and I am now thinking of excuses to go back ASAP. I will be recommending to all my friends, family and maybe strangers in the street. AMAZING!!!!

What a great chip shop cafe, either eat-in or take out - apart from providing gluten-free fish batters and vinegar to accomodate coeliac diets, the taste, look and sheer quality of their fish and chips always great - very competetively priced too with decent sized portions, making this my favourite family-run fish and chip supper establishment on the Fylde coast.

John and I visited for the first time 15 Jan 2013. Modern setting fresh and very clean, somewhat lacking in atmosphere.Food freshly cooked and well presented by helpfull and friendly staff. Would recommend to all and will be re-visiting in the future. Derek Mitchell

I agree the food is always good, however - if you order a take away please check your order is correct when collecting/taking delivery as on more than one occasion foods we have ordered and PAID FOR have been missing from our order!

We visited this place on a family celebration, my husband, myself and our four children. Despite being the first to arrived we were seated way at the back near the kitchens and the toilets (presumably because we had young children?) We likened it to eating in a dingy basement. IF THEY EVER TRY TO SEAT YOU THERE, FIND ELSEWHERE TO EAT! The food was good and fairly priced, the wine was expensive for the quality and the staff moody and uninterested. I want to give the place the benefit of the doubt but can't help feeling sad that we wasted our precious time together there. 4/10

Ummm?! I have not been here for at least a year and was excited to revisit last night. The place has certainly moved on. The new menu has lost its variety and excitement. The food is okay, but I remember it being outstanding. The service and welcome is impeccable, but the new decor feels cool and less cosy. It's a shame.

What a hidden gem! Can honestly say the cheese and onion pie is the best I've ever had! My new favourite place to eat!
