Th’Owd Tithe Barn – GarstangThe best fish and chips ever! The chips were crispy and fluffy and the fish was lovely and crispy too and not soggy and greasy like so many are! Will definitely go back!
Middle Chippy – BisphamJust had Gurkha chicken curry, pilau rice and keema nan. It was gorgeous and you could tast the fresh ingredients used. The keema nan was the best I have ever tasted!!! Well done ;-)
Gurkha Legends – FleetwoodFood is ok but very overpriced. The Spaghetti ai Frutti di Mare that I had contained 2 scallops, 2 King Prawns and some pieces of squid and cost £13.95 which I felt was excessive.
Novello – LythamMade a visit to the Carvery once again andas always on our visits the carvery was very good value and fresh veg and meats were very well cooked and tasty would recommend salters to anyone.
Salters Wharf Toby Carvery – St. Annes-On-Seawe called there last saturday (13 october) . the atmosphere there was absolutely buzzing and there were very few tables available even at six oclock. we had our usual choices, i had the tuna and i have to say that it was excellent in every way. the new chef is spot on with the cooking and all the staff complement each other perfectly. this is our favourite restaurant by far as well as being within walking distance making it even better.
Terra Nostra – BisphamNot happy with service at all ,had a complaint about a cold cup of tea and manager ..grumpy old lady was very very rude....unbelievable
Maddisons – BisphamThe Taps always has a good selection of beers, ales, etc., a relaxed atmosphere and the staff are friendly.Last night when I visited it wasn’t too busy but it still had its usual atmosphere. I saw a new cider they were doing which I hadn’t come across called Cheddar Valley – I thought it was a cheesy drink at first until I saw Traditional Cider in smaller print below.A great taste of Somerset in a great Lancashire pub.
The Taps – LythamPERFECT FISH N CHIPS BEST IN THE NORTH WEST WONDERFUL STAFF 11 OUT OF 10
273 The Fishery – BisphamA great place to dine. Ate here twice in a week even though I live in St Annes. Seems to do a lot of functions too.
Was looking for a good meal however service very slow. 4 tables occupied only, had two with us 45 minutes later still no food. Very poor.
Th’Owd Tithe Barn – GarstangExcellent service with good food have taken many people there and on the 30th October I will be taking a coach full of people because of the excellence and quality and value. ARTHUR
Bell and Bottle, The – KirkhamContrary to the angt poured on Tolleys via Trip Advisor by what appears to be a very rude crowd can I put a balanced viewpoint re Tolleys. Yes Clive Tolley can be brusque at times but not gushing or insincere. I have attended funerals, parties, celebrations of every kind and also one of Clive's cookery evenings and have found the standard in all areas high. I feel qualified to comment as these functions have all been recent. The staff have always been attentive and never rude. The menus have been revamped and the prices are reasonable except for the supplements which tend to be a wee bit excessive. All in all the experience is one which I return to because I like to sit and relax before and after the meal which on the Fylde can be done in very few retaurants on the Fylde. I would robably say that Singleton Lodge, Springfield House are among the very few where you can do this. Am going this Sat for another event so there you go !
Had a great meal at this restaurant after reading reviews on Sugarvine. Friendly service and a good view over St Annes square.
Lou-Shang Cantonese Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaRecently visited the Moghul after not having been for a few years. The new decor doesn't make the restaurant feel cosy - some warmer colours would help that. The food was excellent, and the service was very good too. The only real niggle was that I ordered an espresso which turned out to be a small cup full of normal not very strong black coffee.
Moghul Tandoori Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaJohn and I visited for the first time 10 Sept 2012. What can I say but fantastic we sampled the DIONYSUS MEZE in the ATRIUM section. Food was excellent served by helpful and friendly staff. Would highly recommend to all.and will be re-visiting again. Derek Mitchell
Go Greek – BlackpoolOn entering for the 1st time I immediately heard the boss shouting and being abusive to young members of staff, which made me fel uncomfortable and awkward, the floors were filthy and our food was full of black animal hairs, (appeared to be dog hairs), we didn't even eat it and will never return again.
Taylors Fish And Chips – BlackpoolHaving visited for the first time on the occassion of my birthday I was highly delighted. Food friendly staff of the highest standard. Would certainly recommend to all and be re-visiting again and again. Thank You. Derek Mitchell.
