we had a meal at this hotel/restaurant the first week it opened, i was very impressed julie and irkan are a really friendly couple and the food was excellent, we have been back since with some friends and i will be going back again, would recommend this restaurant to anybody

Scrummy, yummy in the old tummy are just a few words which describe Olivers. Bring your own drink combined with the fantastic music and your onto a winner!!

Works night out, Saturday night, we turned up with an extra diner (!) and although it was absolutely packed , we were accommodated with a different table, no problem. Gave us a chance to enjoy another glass or two of red! Great food, great staff, great atmosphere, can't fault it.

Hi.my opinion on chu's, is to avoid it like the plague!. I ordered chicken with broccoli and a portion of soft noodles. First impressions were good....untill i tasted it!. The chicken was like jelly, sauce full of grease!!. As for the noodles,they were stir fried in to much oil and soya sauce, which made them on the verge of being black! awful. If you like good food like me, STAY AWAY! . The best place to eat chinese food is ZEN in st anne's. There food is AMAZING. They cook with REAL ingredients, not jellied meat.

stepping into the Red Fort, Lytham's premier Indian restaurant, you will be greeted with a warm welcome. The food is delicious. Hot spicy dishes to tantalise the taste buds ,from the warming Korma, to the hottest of curries, blended with the finest naga chillies - this is the Naga Lamb, but not for the faint hearted! Ahad and his Staff are their to help and advise with all the dishes on the extensive menu, even displaying a Chef's recommendation each month. Nothing is too much trouble for them. It's a touch of the East in sleepy old Lytham. Restaurants come and go, but this one is truly established, as is its Sister Restaurant, the exclusive Moghul Restaurant in St Annes. Truly the East on a plate, but don't just take my word for it.....................

Last time that I will EVER come here again! The owner & staff are consistently rude & the food is just OK. A party of 9 of us came to eat on Friday night for a retirement do. Had originally booked for 12 but changed it to 8 as some people cancelled. As it was 9 turned up, ONE extra person & the owner went mad! Swinging his arms about, shouting No! No! Nine's too many! You said 8! Shouting that he could not possibly fit an extra person in! We thought he was joking at first but when we realised he was serious (!) we decided to leave & find somewhere else to eat in Poulton as it is not lacking in nice restaurants but our party had already ordered 2 bottles of champagne whilst waiting for the table & we hadn't finished these. One of the waiters managed to eventually fit another chair round the table (it wasn't that hard!) while the owner was still creating a scene! Of course the atmosphere was shattered so we kept drinking to a minimum after that, not wishing to spend our money there. After the meal, the waiters brought the dessert menu round, we considered it but all declined, at that he said "Well you've got 10 minutes to leave then as we've got another party coming in that needs the table"! What would he have done if we HAD wanted a dessert? Put them in doggy bags for us while we left?! A few of our party asked for coffee & although this was not refused, the waiter was clearly exasperated & there was a lot of puffing & eye-rolling! This is not the first time the staff & owners have been rude there but the 3 previous times it was 'bordering' on the funny/ludicrous (such as the time we asked for pepper from a pepper meal to be told by the owner that he didn't have one as this was 'old-fashioned' & instead he promptly unscrewed the pepper shaker on the table & sprinkled some on my friend's meal with his bare fingers!) but this time it was just rude. From what I could see the people waiting to 'fill the place' were all teenagers who obviously had been tempted in by the half-price menu, for a cheap pizza before they spent their money in the neighbouring clubs. I believe this restaurant is quiet during the week, with service like this I wonder why...... Never again!

Dined here last week in the new Atrium which is a fantastic extension to this restaurant. Great staff, great food. May it continue to prosper!

we ate at your restaurant tonight, the starters were perfect, main courses were okay, my chicken korma was perfect however a little too creamy, my mother's dish although having tender, tasty meat, lacked in sauce, we both enjoyed our food. The price was quite shocking, we have been to many similar restaurants and the price was alot cheaper. We expected different. The staff were good however in my opinion, need to lighten up a little, put a smile on their faces, one man was very straight and seemed dull (no offense), one member of staff was walking past us regularly checking if we had finished which we found quite irritating, the restaurant is good, the food is great, everything was well presented, the staff should be proud and have a little happiness. We enjoyed our night and we hope you take our views into consideration. Thankyou

This has to be one of the best Restaurants we have ever been to, Cant recommend eating here enough fantastic food welcoming atmosphere a real must. Probably the best in Blackpool.

Lytham newest Indian is now open. Tried my favourite curry a Jalfrezi and it was very good. Unusually it had a slice of fresh orange on the top that added to the full flavour.

First visit to Red Fort after recommendation from friend. Food and service excellent, staff friendly, one of the best Indian restaurants we have been to, will definitely return.

Tried Espanol for the first time last night, and will definitely be returning. Tapas was excellent with a great variety of fresh dishes to suit everyone. Though busy, the service was good and you didn't feel rushed. A brilliant evening, will try the Paella next time! Wish this restaurant every success.

Awful Having used this chinese for 9yrs its has recently been taken over this year and the food is awful and drab. the original chef has gone back to Hong Kong and yes you can tell. sent my meals back tonight and got a refund. shame on the dragon

The food at this place is outstanding. Lovely relaxing place to eat. A real jewel in Blackpools crown. We will definitely be back next time we are in Blackpool.

Exceptional Indian restaurant. It has a menu that cares to traditional and more adventurous tastes. Their practice of throwing in gratis taster dishes exceeds expectations, and the dish I had was the highlight of the meal. The night I ate there, there was a party of 20 in at the same time, but service did not suffer - they were attentive and efficient throughout my meal. Five stars for food quality.

Lets start with the wood chip wallpaper in the toilet - get rid of it please and finish the bathroom to the same standard as the dining area. That was the only Bad point, Food was excellent, staff excellent. Best Indian food I have had for about two years. Get yourself there..

Having visited "The Red Fort" many times I can highly recommend this restaurant. Food is amazing and the staff are so friendly and always make you feel welcome. Looking forward to my next visit!
