Taylors Fish And Chips – BlackpoolVery nice place the food wasn't fresh Friday night very very small curry dishes friendly waiters very disappointed to Gina hair in my food because I was very hungry would not visit again the end
Buraq – KirkhamVisited Chu's last night. Fantastic food but the experience was really soured by the oppressive waiting staff. at least every 2 minutes someone was hovering round the table and we felt that we were being rushed into finishing our food. It was not exactly busy and had plenty of empty tables so it was not that they needed a fast turnaround time. When mentioned to the manager on paying the bill he just shrugged his shoulders and was not interested. There are too many places doing great food locally so the customer experience is very important and as such we won't return.
Chus – LythamJust ordered a take away and was really disappointed! We had duck pan cakes which were ok! but crispy king prawns in batter were not edible and chicken chow main very sickly and slimy! Paid £17.90 for the pleasure and still hungry :-(
Furamar, The – BlackpoolFirst time in a while at Suda and – lo and behold – it had doubled in size! Obviously they have bought next door and converted into a ‘proper’ restaurant and bar. Very nicely done and the food was as good as ever. I had the pork and cucumber salad, Thai-style (ie very hot) and my partner had the Musselman curry which was very tasty. Singha beer on draught too.
Suda Thai Cuisine – Poulton-Le-FyldeAm I allowed to come and buy a takeaway as you barred me due to an argument with the woman at reception
Gurkha Hotel, Restaurant and Bar – BlackpoolMy husband and I have been to the Capri in Lytham four times now and each time it does not disappoint. The surroundings are elegant but homely and the service cannot be faulted. We had the chicken satay and I must say it was exceptional - succulent marinated chicken with a really tasty sauce. 10 out of 10 - Well done!
Capri Grand Cafe and Champagne Bar – LythamAte lunch here twice in recent weeks, once in the bar area and once in the restaurant. Both times the food was very good. It did take a while to arrive but once it did it was well worth the wait! I can happily recomend the open fillet steak sandwich and the club sandwich too! Will return soon!!
Clifton Arms Hotel – LythamNot often I have three (savoury) courses, other than at a formal dinner, but the specials at the Cartford last week were unmissable. Watercress soup, Mountain hare and mushroom tagliatelli and then Poached place with Hollandaise sauce. All washed down with a lovely Albarino. Throw in the views of the Wyre and the fells beyond as twilight set in and a great atmosphere and I reckon you’ve got one of the best dining experiences in the area.
Cartford Inn – Great EcclestonWhat a wonderful restaurant. We were having a day trip to Blackpool and pre booked this venue for our fish and chip tea. The place was spotless, staff lovely and food superb. I would go back to Blackpool just to eat here. Thankyou for a memorable experience!
Taylors Fish And Chips – BlackpoolThe best fish and chips ever! The chips were crispy and fluffy and the fish was lovely and crispy too and not soggy and greasy like so many are! Will definitely go back!
Middle Chippy – BisphamWe have never had a bad meal here. Food and service always excellent and sometimes we have been offered a complementary dish to try which is very welcoming. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Red Fort – LythamHad a great meal there last week, fine food, good ale and first class service by friendly staff.
Th’Owd Tithe Barn – GarstangJust had Gurkha chicken curry, pilau rice and keema nan. It was gorgeous and you could tast the fresh ingredients used. The keema nan was the best I have ever tasted!!! Well done ;-)
Gurkha Legends – FleetwoodFood is ok but very overpriced. The Spaghetti ai Frutti di Mare that I had contained 2 scallops, 2 King Prawns and some pieces of squid and cost £13.95 which I felt was excessive.
Novello – LythamMade a visit to the Carvery once again andas always on our visits the carvery was very good value and fresh veg and meats were very well cooked and tasty would recommend salters to anyone.
Salters Wharf Toby Carvery – St. Annes-On-Seawe called there last saturday (13 october) . the atmosphere there was absolutely buzzing and there were very few tables available even at six oclock. we had our usual choices, i had the tuna and i have to say that it was excellent in every way. the new chef is spot on with the cooking and all the staff complement each other perfectly. this is our favourite restaurant by far as well as being within walking distance making it even better.
Terra Nostra – BisphamNot happy with service at all ,had a complaint about a cold cup of tea and manager ..grumpy old lady was very very rude....unbelievable
