Surprisingly have never eaten here before though I have lived in the Fylde. What a pleasant surprise, we loved our Sunday lunch by the river in beautiful surroundings.

I asked for an extra spoon to sample my husband's starter, scallop chowder-delicious,Lovely steak also. To finish we squeezed in gorgeous lemon roulade.The finishing touch was the smooth vocalist (Saturdays, pianist Fridays). A lovely relaxed evening, a credit to all involved. Definately worth a return visit.

Portofino – LythamEnjoyed my Chilii con Carne in the sun. Excellent cask ale from Thwaites, Double Nelson I think it was called. All for a very good price as you would expect from Wetherspoons. Bet they do a roaring trade!

Fylde Rugby Club – LythamHad an excellent evening here a couple of weeks ago. We went in quite a large group, about 15, on a Friday night about half nine and were accommodated no problem! The service was first class, nothing was a problem! The food was tasty, hot and cooked to specific requirements when asked for. The specials were very good too. I would highly recommend any Indian lover to try this restaurant, confident it won't disappoint.

JK’s Steakhouse – BlackpoolVisited this restaurant quite a few times now and it's always been consistently good. Service is good, efficient and staff are very attentive and pleasant. The menu is very extensive so I always try a different dish - every time the dishes have been delicious - really tasty and quite different from other Indian restaurants I have been to. This Indian food is excellent and of the highest quality and thoroughly recommended.
Moghul Tandoori Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaWe took the kids here a few weeks ago and we all loved it! The food was good and well priced, the service impeccable, Erminio has them all well trained! The kids loved the train and especially the pizza section being in the restaurant so they could watch and even join in when some dough was thrown our way! An excellent family restaurant!!

Espanol – Poulton-Le-FyldeI thought the food was amazing! I would say a 4 star rating! The service was very, very quick it took less that 25 minutes it was great! The value for money as well was excellent if you go for the early bird and even if you don't make the early bird you could still get great food for a cheap amount! The waiters were very welcoming and the presentation of the restaurant was very nice and was clearly orthentic Chinese decoration! I would recommend all my friends and family to go to woks cooking! Woks Cooking – LythamMy husband and I, were treated like Royalty here on Sunday evening!! I ordered Cottage pie and my husband ordered Steak. I am very fussy about eating out as I pride myself on my home cooking but I have to hold my hand up and say that this cottage pie was as good - NAY - I might even say better - than mine! Likewise, himself doesn't always enjoy the eating-out experience. However, he was mighty impressed with his steak which was cooked to perfection, which he always says is either over or under done but this one was Bob-on!! The rice pudding after was delicious and very moreish (as the man on the next table was saying) and when we finished, we were as full as an egg. Mine host is warm and hospitable (as are all the staff) and afterwards we can get some fresh air outside by the canal. Altogether a satisfying event. Highly recommended.

The other half had a sort of ploughmans platter which was also very good, high quality ingredients used and presented well. Will be back to try other things as it was a hard choice from a very varied menu.
