we drive from Preston every Sunday, just to eat the fantastic,very best haddock and chips we've ever had.

My wife and I go to dhalias kitchen on a regular occasion and have been doing for years. The themed nights are excellent with great food great service and the acts are usually very good. I love the Xmas dinners and can recommend the excellent and original home made stolen bread and butter pudding. All the food is fresh and cooked to order but you don't mind waiting a little longer for quality food. As a matter of fact I don't like to eat anywhere else except at Dhalias. Friendly service nothing too much trouble. Hope to be coming for many years

Having eaten on several occasions at Vesuvio restaurant, I can quite honestly say that this is the best Italian on the Fylde Coast. The friendly atmosphere hits you as soon as you walk through the door and there is a very warm and cosy feeling about the place. The staff are always very friendly and the food is out of this world. The place is very well decorated and has that warm Italian feel to it. I would recommend that you try the melt in your mouth fillet steak. 10 out of 10 Vesuvio, keep it up, FANTASTIC, NEED I SAY MORE !!!!

We visit the Red Fort often and think of it as our favourite restaurant in Lytham, week day night early birds are particularly good value. The food is probably the best quality of any Indian restaurant and I can definitely recommend it!

Visited mid afternoon on a Friday when the pub was very quiet. We were impressed with the choice of vegetarian options on offer - much more choice and varied than we would usually find. We chose Mushroom Stroganoff served with rice & salad and Stuffed Peppers served with rice and salad, together with a side order of battered onions & peppers. Service was polite, friendly and quick. The meals were delicious - prepared with fresh ingredients well cooked. Overall an excellent dining experience and we will definitely visit again in the near future.

I highly recommend the Redfort, great value, always excellent food and fantastic service from staff - very friendly but still professional. Me and my girlfriend always come here and can never fault it - It is the best Indian restaurant we have been to in the Fylde. Definitely worth trying if you are in the area!

I've been going to the Moghul in St Annes since the early 1990s and was delighted when the Red Fort opened in Lytham. Neither of these restaurants ever fail to maintain their high standards of both service and food. Husband and I went there last night and had yet another good meal from the early diner deal which is such a good deal (and the Sunday banquet is even better!). The staff were friendly, polite and helpful. The decor (re-done last year) is stylish and the ambience relaxing. The menu is regularly updated with new dishes and they are always willing to explain the dishes to help you make the right choice. When we decide to go for an Indian meal we never think of anywhere else except the Moghul or Red Fort.

Fabulous place, good price, good staff, massive portions and quality to go with it! top tip - order a naan bread :p

A real gem - The Red Fort - we look forward to every visit. It has become our favourite venue in Lytham and an especially good finale to Sunday walks! It offers amazing food - preparation and presentation meet and frequently exceed expectation. Ahad and his dedicated team run the restaurant with friendly expertise. Give it a try and enjoy.

I live in Lytham, so tend to go to The Red Fort fairly often; well it's a first class dining experience; I went with my girlfriend Jan, a few days ago; I had the Balti Exotica, while she tried one of the Aromatic Biryanis. Both were superb and succulent. This must be one of the best Indian restaurants on the Fylde Coast, both for choice and value. Marks... 11 out of 10!

1st visit here and both food and service were excellent. Definitely a place to recommend - even during a mid-week visit as we did.

The Red Fort is definitely the best Indian restaurant we have ever been to. the food is absolutely wonderful and the staff are all great. We have eaten at some of the best restaurants in the Country and my partner has visited Indian on a few occasions and sampled the food there and we both think the standard of food and service at the red fort are second to none. We tell all our friends to try it and none of them have been disappointed.

We discovered The Red Fort whilst living in Lytham and although we are now living back in Cheshire we still try to get there at least twice a month because it is without a doubt the best restaurant, serving the best Indian food we have ever tasted. The service is excellent and the staff are all really nice. It is well worth the journey.

We took a coach of 26 people to the Venue for the lunch menu of a choice of meals for £5.99. The choice was excellent, and the food was tasty and filling, everyone enjoyed their choices. The staff could not do enough to help and we all would visit again without hesitation.

My Wife and I went for dinner on 24 March 2012 and were extremely disappointed. As regulars since the beginning of 2007, when the hotel and dining facilities were refurbished, we have always really enjoyed the food, especially the tapas. Alas, these are now very poor and suggest that the dining is moving to a downmarket level with a lower level of prices. The selections are now dreadful, the portions reduced and the accompaniments that used to be served with many dished have completely disappeared. The food itself was ok but again, not as good as that we had become accustomed to. Service was ok albeit a little slow to usual, it was Saturday night and very busy so accept this aspect. Very sad that such a winning format has been lost. The dining area bar has at last introduced draught lager/beer but do not serve as the usual pints, they serve in glasses of 400ml but charge at the level of a pint. Very sneaky.

Fab pizzas, panini, soup, pasta, ice cream, coffee and scones! I haven't tried the paella yet....next on my list!! Great music and atmosphere and taking your own wine is such a bonus! We have been going since it opened day and night. Even the kids love it!!! Would recommend it to all! My teenage daughter went for her birthday with her mates minus the wine obviously but they were made totally welcome. Shabatronic!

Food was excellent however, the initial service in the bar was terrible, we were told to expect a half an hour wait which we were okay with so ordered our drinks along with informing the waiter of our name which she wrote down with our order of drinks. 45 minutes later and still no drinks even after enquiring twice about them; turned out that the waiter had forgotten our order even after writing it down. Other people coming into the bar after us were served along time before us and some were even seated before we finally got our drinks. Really unhappy with initial service which is a shame as the food was fantastic. Very doubtful we will be visiting again because of the service in the bar!

This is one of my favourite restaurants. High standards of service and the freshest ingredients are obvious. If you are looking for a QUALITY night out then visit the Moghul. Good wine list too!!!
