Very good food and big portions, it's a shame the staff are charging customers to pay the bill on a debit card, I was charged £1 to pay for a takeaway I am disappointed and will think again next time?

Michaels Indian Restaurant – Thornton-CleveleysWent to Dantes tonight, and how much disappointed i was. Been there many times before and was very nice, but as to tonight it was disgusting full of salt and what looked like processed chicken, feels like i have just had a mouth wash, never going back !!!!!!!!
Dante’s Italian Takeaway – GarstangHaving not been to the venue since it was the royal we decided to bring some friends here for a change, we were greeted by a lovely young waiter who served us though out our meal he was friendly and nothing seemed to faze him despite my husband's best efforts. We all had two courses, mine was a lasagna which was one of the best I have ever tasted and a simply divine Clementine cheesecake. My husband had king prawns and a steak and ale pie with the biggest chips I have ever seen, he nearly had to restrain me from pinching them. Our guests also fully enjoyed the food and the atmosphere was pleasant for a good natter into the night, Thank you to the venue
The Venue – Thornton-CleveleysOur party of four was out for a joint birthday lunch.Nothing special.... we do it every year. This time WAS special when we truly enjoyed our varied choices served piping hot by mine host Neal. Apart from the delicious, well presented food we really appreciated the modern, comfortable setting AND, for us the absence of tired out old tunes on musak. This made conversation so much easier. Thank you Neal and we hope to be at The Sparling Barton again soon.
The Sparling Barton – GarstangDon't think I'll be going here again cause I was done out of a 20
Tiggy Winkles Of Bond Street – BlackpoolHave been to Kays twice before - haddock and chips were excellent. Went today (17/1/12) and ordered a haddock. The fish was fried fresh for me but when I got it home it definitely wasn't haddock. Don't know what the fish was but it was translucent and tasteless - I thought they may have cooked a cod by mistake but I'm not so sure that cod would be so tasteless. Will go back again (because generally they are very good) but will make sure that I get what I want....
Kays Fish and Chips – Thornton-CleveleysGood traditional roast dinner and scrumptious sponge pudding and custard with friendly helpful staff.
Chattery Cafe, The – LythamIve eaten here on a number of occasions. It is a little more expensive than the usual pub lunch but food is superb, excellent portions, friendly staff & lovely decor. Latest meal was a small family 18th celebration, we had meals ranging from steak to burger to lamb hotpot. Starters from prawns to chicken wings. Everyone had empty plates! 9.5 out of 10. It is a little bit expensive but for a special occasion & if you want a more informal atmosphere with family it ticks all the boxes.
Ship at Elswick – Great Eccleston5 of us had a great meal here on Saturday night. Alex passion for food is enormous. he sources some of his produce for small villages in italy and his pizzas and pastas are sublime. He also has a good range of starters. the place is always buzzing and its recommended that you book well in advance. he also does takeaway on most of the menu. ill definitely be going back.
Pulci Pizza – Poulton-Le-FyldeI've eaten at the castle gardens a couple of times over the last 6 weeks. On one occasion it was for my son's 18th birthday. There were 19 in our party eating at tea time the Saturday before Christmas. Everyone had starters
Castle Gardens – Poulton-Le-Fyldehad a fantastic meal, very tasty combination of spices and some unusual dishes.Staff very pleasant and helpful.Something for everyone on the menu.
Red Fort – LythamJust ordered my first curry from the Welcome, what a treat! Staff most helpful and service very prompt. The portions were very generous and the prices very reasonable. Will certainly be visiting again. Would recommend this local takeaway to anyone.
Welcome Chinese TakeAway – BisphamMe and my wife went for the early bird menu on Tuesday this week I had the chicken magumbo and my wife had chicken achbori both meals were absolutely fantastic the only thing i could say was the coco cola came out of a plastic bottle, it was quite expensive and very flat.....But all in all excellent place very helpful staff.
Moghul Tandoori Restaurant – St. Annes-On-Seawhat can i say that will better this top-class restaurant? every time we come here we enjoy it more and more and we enjoy the camaraderie of all the staff. as far as the food is concerned we have great difficulty in actually selecting something from the menu. the only way to actually try everything is to call every week which is very tempting!
Terra Nostra – BisphamGemma has full marks in my eyes for service and food. We go at least once a month and at Xmas for the past 3 years we go for our Xmas day curry a bit unorthodox i know but as usual great food excellent service and great atmosphere
Gemma Indian Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaWell on 30/12/2011 three of us came here and were served two pints followed a little later by two more. We were very well dressed, quiet and extremely courteous even complimenting the barman on pulling a good pint. Then when requesting a third pint we were told abruptly and in a nasty fashion that we had had too much and were asked to leave! His female colleague who had just appeared also had the same attitude! We Couldn't believe the incredible change in attitude. We were in no way loud, abusive, crude or disrespectful. On asking why, he just said the manager told him to. Asking to speak to the manager we were told Oh He' went out 30mins ago! now please leave! There were 9 people in the pub, nobody eating. We left as quietly as we had entered but wished that the barman would be able to keep his head on his shoulders the following night, being New Years Eve. Wow I bet that night was a bundle of fun! So we and many of our friends in St Annes are spreading the word to avoid this place with the disgraceful attitude the staff.are showing.
Salters Wharf Toby Carvery – St. Annes-On-SeaMost interesting in every way from decor and artwork to friendly and humorous staff then of course there is the food where quality far outstrips quantity thank goodness. Very French an utter delight in this area. My favourite venue!
