Excellent in every way - food, service, atmosphere. A lovely way for ten of us to celebrate a friend’s 80th birthday. Enjoyed by all.

A group of 4 of us had afternoon tea in the library today. Simon was in charge and was brilliant! Very attentive, professional but friendly and ensured we were happy with everything and were enjoying it all. The ladies helping were also very nice and helpful. We then did the house tour which was outstanding. The renovation of the rooms is amazing and the standard of the rooms is excellent. There were 5 different house guides in various rooms and they were all very knowledgeable and friendly. Their expertise and the information they shared really brought it all to life for us. We all want to return when the house if decorated for Christmas. A brilliant afternoon.

Very tasty selection of sandwiches and cakes - the scones were particularly fresh. Lovely setting and relaxed atmosphere. Service efficient (perhaps a little too efficient as plates and cake stand were whisked away quite quickly!) and friendly. We would book again and also give as a nice gift.

Live local and always went here. Last meal at 4 was late and not all good. This Sunday backed to superb Sunday lunch for 3. All fresh tender and hot Will be back soon

Beautiful room to be seated in The greetings from the reception to the staff serving you the food and drinks was expectional Thoroughly enjoyed the experience nothing was too much for the ladies serving you I must recommend taking the tour of Lytham Hall afterwards as it's a beautiful house, the guides were incredibly knowledgeable Can not fault the food, service, surroundings An excellent experience from start to finih

Havent been for a while but Sundays meal with friends didnt disappoint at all. Excellent food and very good, friendly, helpful staff giving brillant service puts it to the top of our local list for any type of food, not just Italian. Only point dropped for atmosphere was purely that it was a quiet wet Sunday afternoon that we were there. Looking forward to taking more friends and family there.

Staff were lovely...Nice little pub ....we both had lamb dinner...quite disappointed...lacking in seasonal veg ...carrot and green beans....lumpy mashed potatoes ..very fatty lamb .Nice large Yorkshire pudding which covered the small amount of food underneath....I do like to enjoy my food and enjoy a good Sunday roast...thoroughly disappointed

We met up with family here for a birthday celebration. I had booked a table and it was ready when we arrived. I had the braised lamb and it was absolutely delicious. It was served with creamy mashed potatoes, vegetables and lashings of very tasty gravy. Everyone else enjoyed their meals too. Steak and kidney pie, chicken and leeks in cheese sauce, and gammon, egg and chips. Great menu with plenty to choose from. We have dined here many times and will be back before too much longer. We don't live local enough to come as frequently as we would like.

What a lovely experience brought My friend and her Mum. Lovely Sunday champagne afternoon tea. The staff were amazing. So helpful and accommodating -nothing was too much trouble and they adjusted things to suit tastes. The food was delicious - we all liked the lemon posset but the scones were gorgeous.

Extremely disappointing, long wait to be seated and to order food. Was told that there was no brisket or sausage, not too big a deal, so we ordered something else. Asked for starters and mains to come together, again another long wait only for everything to come out at different times. My mushrooms were cold and needed sending back. The mains were ok, nothing special. The burger was not eaten, this could be because my daughter just didn’t like it. My son ordered a dessert which appeared very over priced, £9.50 for some mini doughnuts. Again very long time before it arrived. The bill came and I don’t mind paying £123 for a meal, but £123 for a meal that was not enjoyed by anyone is a lot money. No apologies and overall not a nice experience, would NEVER return

Can't fault this little gem situated in the heart of Garstang. Eaten here a few times now and the food has been on point and the staff are very attentive and friendly.

Such a lovely place, with a family feel. Fantastic service and great pizzas and garlic bread. Brilliant for families or a date night.

6:30 booking. By 7pm we had just got our drinks. 7:15 ordered food which did not appear until 7:50! Seemed very understaffed, food terribly slow… especially for an early sitting with a teen. Food was lovely when it arrived but wouldn’t visit again due to wait times. We were told it would be 30 mins for food but did not expect to have to wait 45 mins to order it!!
