Frenchmans Cove – BlackpoolMy boyfriend and I go here every week. Simply the best fish and chips on the Fylde Coast! Massive portions so only order a large fish if you haven't eaten for a week!!! Staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Child friendly too. You wont be disappointed
Seafarers Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaCame to this restaurant with my family on Saturday evening and don't regret it one bit. Excellent service by the friendliest and most patient staff you could ever wish to meet. With my family being as indecisive as ever over the excellent menu on offer it was much appreciated. I had the haddock and chips as recommended by the manager and it was absolutely delicious. Well recommended and will definitely visit again when we are next up there.
New Norbreck Fish and Chips – Thornton-CleveleysWe visit The Moghul or its sister restaurant, The Red Fort, regularly and the food is always very tasty and service pretty good too! I particularly recommend the balti exotica, an excellent dish, and they're always happy to spice it up by adding a few fresh green chillis ;-)
Moghul Tandoori Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaThe venue was fantastic along with the food, service and atmosphere. I brought some friends and family with me, as it was the first visit here I was a bit nervous as I choose the venue, but it was a very good choice with everyone commenting that they enjoyed themselves!
Toast Cafe Bar and Grill Restaurant – BlackpoolAs a mum with a 16month old little boy, we are always warmly welcomed at the Lytham Kitchen, brought colouring books and crayons too! The food is lovely (the specials are alway very good) service very friendly and quick. This has turned into a family tradition to go every weekend. A great little find!
The Lytham Kitchen – LythamAbsolutely lovely venue, great food friendly staff and a great start to a lovely evening with family, friends or just out with the dog!
Th’Owd Tithe Barn – GarstangGreat little curryhouse - the food here is truly amazing - much better than the bigger more expensive places all around. Friendly staff. Can't beat it for an great Indian.
The Raj – FreckletonNow here is a real gem if you appreciate good Indian food. The Raj isn't the plushest, most sophisticated place, but it's spotlessly clean with really, really good food. In fact i've not eaten Indian food that's been as good as this for a long time and certainly not anywhere else in the Fylde. Chris J Woodplumpton
The Raj – FreckletonReasonably good food but they actually ask you for a tip before you've paid!!!! What's going on there? I'm certainly not going back. Chris J Woodplumpton
Red Fort – LythamThis place is fab! Went for the first time on friday, the bank hol weekend for my husband's birthday. We weren't sure where to go and ended up there and what a great place it is. It was fully booked downstairs but there was restaurant space upstairs in the bar for walk ins. The atmosphere was vibrant, food was exquisite and the service was impeccable. My husband had the sirlion steak, 'best steak he ever had'. Really friendly, definitely worth a visit!!
Henry’s – LythamI think we must have caught Bosco on a bad day! We went for lunch on Bank Holiday Monday after being recommended by a friend. The table we sat at was by the bar area and staff were constantly within a foot of the back of the chairs preparing drinks - so much so that we had to move in the end. I had the Salata Tricolore, which consisted of 5 cherry tomatoes, barely half an avocado, a couple of slices of mozzarella and......nothing else! It was so small it was served on a side plate and cost £8.25!! My husband had the pollo salad which was better but nothing to write home about - however, it did come with toasted garlic ciabatta although the chef forgot this initially and we had to chase it up, finally getting it half way through the meal. Perhaps we would have fared better going for a meal in the evening, however, I don't think we will be rushing back there! With many good places to eat in Lytham, I would go somewhere else!
Bosco – LythamWent here for dinner last night with my family. I have been here once before but had forgotten how cosy and comfortable the interior is. And my do you need it to be, the portions you can serve yourself are amazing! I recommend trying a small to medium sized plate from the starter part, especially the chicken satay. Next try a plate of from the chinese section, I had the chicken in chilli sauce which wasn't too hot, but if you're not into the spices I'd go for the blackbean sauce instead, or the sweet and sour. Also don't forget to put on the salty ribs, which are really meaty! If you still have room left, then go for a plate of curry, I tried the mild gurkha curry and the hot one. Don't have the hot one if you don't like hot curries, this one is like a vindaloo! The spicy potato thing they do as well is really tasty, plus they do all the garnishes and poppadoms, naan breads etc. All in all this is great value for money, only a tenner so you can't find better value for miles. I highly recommend this place for informal birthdays and a mid week fill. The owner is a gurkha as well so don't mess!
Gurkha Hotel, Restaurant and Bar – BlackpoolWhat has happen to La Dolce Vita? This used to be one of my favourite restaurants, the staff were friendly, the food was great, service fantastic and the atmosphere was so pleasant, well I am afraid to say that none of this applies now it has a new owner, it is such a shame, the portion sizes are much smaller and don't taste like they used to, and there is an unfriendly atmosphere and all the staff look miserable and unhappy and forced to be nice, it is not relaxing anymore, me and my wife felt rushed out, so they could fit the next people in. It never used to be like this, we used to go often in the last couple of years, as recommended by friends and always had a wonderful time. We are sorry to say we won't be back and neither will are friends. Mike and Linda
Pizza and Pasta – Thornton-Cleveleysstopped here on the way back home to colne,on a trip out to fleetwood after reading reviews on here. wow.amazing food, service the works.very pleased.in fact i would be happy to drive here from colne just for this place! the lager-lal toofal,is superb too.never seen it anywhere else.thankyou mehirin & best wishes.
