Tiggis St Annes – St. Annes-On-SeaExcellent food, very welcoming, warm and friendly atmosphere will certainly go again, as we had quite a few in our party and they catered for us there and then without any fuss or advanced booking.
Trafalgar Restaurant – FleetwoodFirst class Fish&chips ,not tried the 20oz fish yet !!!!!!
Eating Plaice – FleetwoodWhat a refreshingly clean, friendly place to have lunch...we are heading back for dinner just to make sure we were right the first time. Fresh vegetables, fresh tasty meat, Veli the proud host and apple tea - make this place a real find!! A+ and from an Oxford woman that's pretty good going!! Highly recommended!!!
Anatolia – St. Annes-On-SeaWent here with some mates, who had told me about the portions had the Mix Grill, was huge!!. Then took my girlfriend the week after, more sensible this time, I had the Sirloin she had the fillet steak, service and food was great again, would recommend to all.
Rigbys Farmhouse Restaurant – FreckletonOn the strength of a recent laudatory feature on BBC Radio Lancashire, my wife and I travelled 25 miles west today to sample the Cottage's fish and chips. What a massive, massive, disappointment! The cod was { just about) passable, but the inedible blackened chips were greasy, soggy and tasted of cheap burnt fat. A truly disgusting offering- the worst chips we have tasted for many a year, if not ever. Surely we cannot have been given the same fare as the smiling minor celebrities in the photos lining the walls of this fish and chip hell!! Ironically, travelling the same distance eastwards from our home takes us to something approaching fish and chip heaven- Grandma Pollard's at Walsden near Todmorden. We have never been disappointed in our numerous visits there. If only we had been loyal to them today..
The Cottage – Blackpooli have visited la dolce vita for the first time last Saturday never never again Italian? Chinese,Polish, Portuguese,Thai, but not Italian food very poor service ? very very poor.
Pizza and Pasta – Thornton-CleveleysWe have good appetites but the 'set meal' of deliciously barbecued meats finally defeated us...although we made room for the homemade baclava..! The wine was good but expensive. Overall a great experience and the owner Veli and his staff are enthusiastic and attentive.
Anatolia – St. Annes-On-SeaWe've not eaten here for a few years and never upstairs on the floor. while this is a novel idea its far from practical, very uncomfortable if you are wanting to savour the evening after you have finished eating. The food was ok, the quality and quantity seemed to have suffered from when the place first opened, however we will no doubt be returning in a few more years.
Mews Thai – Poulton-Le-FyldeWe had a table of 19 for a family celebration on Sat 15th January and Romano and team did not let us down. I chose pork wrapped in parma ham with a marsala source and it was melt in the mouth gorgeous. Numerous Wigan appetites sated, several bottles of red wine and a bill at less than £23 a head. Well done Tiggis!
Tiggis St Annes – St. Annes-On-SeaThe absolute best Thai food around. You have to go as far as Manchester to find quality like this.
Suda Thai Cuisine – Poulton-Le-FyldeAfter reading a number of recommendations I visited Ego tonight whilst on a business trip. Warm welcome, friendly efficient service. Excellent food at a reasonable price. What more could you want.
Ego Mediterranean Restaurant – LythamThe food is amazing they are starting up steak & Bake nights and other themed evenings up I can't wait.
Bay View Hotel – Isle of ManTremendous food - high quality, matched by the service. Quiet music in the background does not intrude on the experience and the new decor is as tasteful as the food.
Red Fort – Lythamforget kebabs, for once... that's the place to go! amazing food...
Anatolia – St. Annes-On-SeaMonday night, great calamari and aubergine parmigiana. asked for veal saltimboca - instead of pork - no problemo !! fettucini spicy but meatballs a little luke warm. service excellent.
Tiggis St Annes – St. Annes-On-SeaSaw the ad in the evening Gazette recently about this place and remember this chef from her time at the Mews. Went recently, her food is still fantastic and would certainly recommend Suda Thai.
Suda Thai Cuisine – Poulton-Le-Fyldefirst visit to mews Thai on Saturday night and its AMAZING the food id the best Thai I've ever had, We had guests from Italy so we sat on the cushions on the top floor and it was a little uncomfortable but a must do for a true experience... we had the banquet for 4 people and there was soo much left...cant wait for our next visit.
