The best curry I have ever had. Highly recommended and also by any of my friends who have been.

Maya – Poulton-Le-Fyldehaving visited jade delight lastnite i would just like to say what a complete waste of money, from the outside jade delight looks unwelcoming and dingy and it doesnt get any better once through the doors, and the food, where shall i start.the prawn crackers were soggy, the chicken curry ,well i say curry?i mean water.the best dish by far in the "banquet" was the chips and that says it all,the puddings,if u can call em that, consists of dry pineapple, melon, orange segment and dry sponge cut that thin u can see through it,took my mrs and son and my son said, dad its horrible, and do u know wot,i certainly cud,nt argue with that.i felt my money had been taken off me under false pretences by a restaurant masquerading as a chinese banquet.been for a few meals in my time but this by far was the very worst.
Jade Delight Oriental Buffet Restaurant – BlackpoolWe visited this lovely village pub for a Sunday evening meal after driving down the Blackpool Illuminations. We were made to feel very welcome by the staff and were greeted not only by warmth and atmosphere but also smiles :) I started my meal with the Chilli and BBQ Chicken wings which I can say were a brilliant twist to the regular BBQ Wings found in most other pubs, there were 6 large wings with plenty of meat on them and dressed with a fresh and crisp salad garnish. My husband started with the Homemade Garlic Mushrooms - again excellent presentation and very tasty indeed (i did pinch a few!) For our main meals I chose the Traditional Sunday Roast Pork served with a huge bowl of fresh vegetables cooked perfectly (not soggy!), 3 massive roast potatoes, new potatoes and a yorkshire pudding, not forgetting the obviously homemade rich gravy. My husband opted for a "Laurel and Hardy" or to others a 10oz rib -eye steak topped with lamb chops and 2 fried eggs served with chips and salad garnish... The fact that there was not a smidgen left speaks for its self, eggs cooked perfectly, steak full of flavour and cooked to his request, the lamb chops were meaty and juicy. Unfortunately we couldn't manage a pudding after such generous portions but have to say the puddings we saw coming out to other tables looked beautiful. We will definitely be stopping off again and have been telling our friends all week about "The Horns Inn" Garstang. 10 out of 10
Horns Inn – GarstangWe went in September and were really looking forward to it, there were four of us and we really enjoyed it. I had heard good and bad reports before hand but really i cant fault the place, the service or the food, and im a fussy eater!!!
Ego Mediterranean Restaurant – LythamWell, after reading all these glowing reviews, i had to get there and try it. Unfortunately my expectations were quickly dashed. I'm afraid that I found this no more than a very average Italian restaurant. Food was OK but nothing special, service was pretty awful, kept waiting for our booked table, waited almost 1 hour for our main course. I don't mind waiting, but really it was nothing special. There were kids running around, and a constant stream of smokers heading out through the front door and leaving it open, leaving a lovely cold draft on us the whole time. Well, I will try it one more time, as I am thinking it must be me, as I am the only person with negative things to say. Still one more experience like that and it will certainly be the last.
San Marcos – BlackpoolThis is the second time I have been to Tollys for a meal but at the invitation of another. On both occasions the meal was paid for by another. Both meals were tasteless and tiny, I also left the restaurant hungry. The second meal I had was beef stroganoff which was a £5.00 surplus on the £16.50 menu, the portion was approx 4oz of meat in a sauce that could of come out of a tin in my opinion. Both my brother and I thought the main course was very poor and we both kept adding salt to what was a tasteless dish. I would not go and pay for a meal there as I was extremely disappointed. On a positive the service was very good and I did not have to wait. The location is also very nice.
My husband and I went here for the first time as we wanted to try somewhere different. We weren't members of the casino but it only took 5 minutes to join. The restaurant is upstairs on the mezzanine with views overlooking the casino itself. The decor is quite modern with very comfy chairs and the atmosphere is a little more high class than the majority of restaurants in the area. The service we received was exceptional - they seem to have the right balance of staff to customers - and the staff we always very polite and nothing was too much trouble. We were shown to our table and offered some bread. As well as the usual butter they also provide you with a small dish of olive oil and balsamic vinegar so that you can dip your bread in - apparently, this is quite common in the rest of Europe. We hadn't tried it before but it was very nice. So, onto the meal itself. For starters I had parcel of warm smoked salmon which was stuffed with potato and chive salad. My husband had chicken liver terrine which was a pate in a light pastry. Both were lovely - the salmon was to die for! For main course we both had the special that was on that night - Lancashire sirloin steak. This was a sirloin steak with black pudding and bacon on top (the black pudding was divine and just fell apart when you cut into it). This came with chips, which were more like small roasted potatoes (yummy), a flat field mushroom, rocket, grilled cherry tomatoes and a separate jug of pepper sauce. We were also served with a side-dish of mange-tout, carrots and cauliflower - but there was already more than enough on our plates, hence the beg got left. The steak was cooked to our preference and was perfect! For dessert we both had a selection of Cornish dairy ice creams - again, very nice. We had a bottle of Petit Papillon red wine with our meal but they also provide complimentary bottles of water - nice touch, not many places do this. We both highly recommend this restaurant. The prices are very reasonable for the amount and quality of food AND the excellent service. Our bill came to £56 - for 1 round of drinks, bottle of red, and 2 three course meals. You won't be disappointed if you go here. This has to be the best restaurant in the area and makes such a nice change to the many other restaurants around Blackpool.
Grosvenor Casino Blackpool – BlackpoolHad a meal here on my hen party and though we were a big party (and quite a noisy party) we had a great night. Food was lovely, staff were fantastic and very helpful. We all got served together (no mean feat with 14 people in the party) and though we pre-booked our food (to save hassle on the night) Mike and his team were very accommodating when we had last minute cancellations and when we ordered extras on the night. Would definitely visit again and is lovely knowing we have somewhere so fabulous, so near by.
Toast Cafe Bar and Grill Restaurant – BlackpoolWhat a fab place. The restaurant is nicely decorated, staff are very friendly and welcoming. Food is served with no delays. Wine list is very varied and caters for all tastes and is very affordable, even the house wine is really good! The food is outstanding and good size portions, highly recommend to everyone. 10/10
Woks Cooking – LythamI've never had a bad meal from IO, I will not hesitate to return again, and again.
Indian Orchard – BisphamAt Suda Thai Cuisine, the food is always exceptional and really good value for money. We'd recommend anybody to give it a try - order a takeaway and you won't be disappointed !
Suda Thai Cuisine – Poulton-Le-FyldeAmazing Food, Amazing Staff. We went in for a meal and were warmly greeted by a member of staff named Grant, he introduced us to the delightful menu and gave 5* service all night, as did the other staff. The food was absolutely superb, We both opted for the Beef Stifado (which was to die for), Followed by some home-made Baklava. Perfect food, lively atmosphere with great staff. Need i say more?
Olive Tree Brasserie – St. Annes-On-SeaSome friends and I visited the Hand and Dagger on Friday evening and found to our surprise that the place had lots of soldiers in the pub and jeeps and tents in the field. the first thing that we noticed was the pub was busy and everyone was having a great time. We had some drinks and sat down to look at the menu. Straks, mixed grills, 10oz gammons we did not know what to choose. We ordered and very soon we all had some of the finest looking food we have seen, and they where every bit as good as they looked. Soon a Karaoke man arrived and now full of fine food and one or two pints later we settled in for what was a brilliant evening. We had a ball and will be back soon for more of this excellent food and drink.
Hand and Dagger – KirkhamI went here again on Friday night with 7 people and yet again the food and the whole night in general were absolutely excellent. All my friends chose from the "Something for the weekend menu" which was £18.95 for 3 courses and i had the ala carte which worked out at £40 for 3 courses but to be totally honest the food that was presented to my friends for £18.95 looked and from what i can gather from my friends telling me was just as good as the ala carte but then again the ala carte menu has a wider choice where the "Something for the weekend menu" only had a limited choice. the food in general is excellent so which ever you chose you are bound to enjoy it. Thanks for a great night will definitely be returning soon.
Twelve – Thornton-CleveleysA friend and I had the pleasure of eating here a few weeks ago, not only are the service utterly faultless, but the food was the best I have eaten anywhere in the north for a very long time. excellent!!!!
Jade Garden Chinese Restaurant – Poulton-Le-FyldeMy friends and i were here last weekend for the second time this year. Again the food, drink and atmosphere was fantastic. We all had the steak on the saturday night and a huge breakfast the next morning, which i have to say was second to none and cooked fresh (None of your laying under the hot plate for 3 hrs rubbish) lol. Alan and Lucy as per the last time we stayed the weekend for an event, where the perfect hosts and ever attentive to the needs of everyone in attendance. How they both manage to be so up and positive all the time is beyond me lol. A lovely couple, good ales, and continued good food. What else could you ask for, Kenny Morland
