Buraq – KirkhamWhen we visit Cleveleys, which is a few times a year, we always go to the Carousel Cafe for a meal. Over the years we have had quite a range of meal, Steak, Mixed Grill, Open Sandwiches, 3 course Roast Dinner, etc. Whatever we have had has always been beautifully cooked, plenty of it, and excellent value for money. The staff are brilliant, there? outside seating and they serve beers, wines etc. You cant better it in Cleveleys, we have recommended it to family and friends when they visit Cleveleys and they all sing the Carousels praises.
Carousel Licensed Diner – Thornton-Cleveleysexcellent place to eat, i ordered #16 with chicken - pad kee mao, stir fried flat rice noodles with sweet basil and fresh chilli - absolutely beautiful, everything i wanted in a thai dish, and very inexpensive - would recommend this place to anybody.
Wah Wahs – BlackpoolOne of the best chippies on the Fylde Coast, definitely the best in Lytham
Lytham Fish and Chips – LythamHaving visited Rico's a number of times i am always pleasantly surprised at the consistency of excellent service, quality of food and wonderful staff. We have been this evening and were not disappointed, thanks.
Ricos Italian Restaurant – Poulton-Le-FyldeHad a really great meal here the other night -- which prompted this review, something I don't usually do. A good vibe, friendly service and a very switched on lady running things front-of-house. But the big draw for me here is that all the menus (a la carte, specials, wine list) offer something different. I get so sick of seeing variations on the same theme in every 'modern British' restaurant. This place claims to be Med-influenced and it really is a breath of fresh air. Try it.
Jack’s Restaurant & Bar – St. Annes-On-SeaHaven't eaten there but love the atmosphere in the Pub, wish we had one just like it in Australia. We dream about it!
Golden Ball Hotel, The – Poulton-Le-FyldeWe've been going to Blackpool on our annual girls august bank holiday weekend for 5 years now and we found it by chance the 1st year we where there. West coast rock cafe is the only place we eat at for the whole weekend and we have never had a bad meal yet, it's delicious! The staff are always friendly and the atmosphere is always great! We are due to return this august and believe me we will definitely be at the west coast for our food and drink!
West Coast Rock Cafe – BlackpoolVery good very nice
Harry Ramsdens – BlackpoolWe went the day after they had received the "seafish fryers award" on the recommendation of some local people. The fish and chips were the best we have ever tasted, and we would recommend the "batterless" fish, it was superb!
Granada Fish Bar and Takeaway – FleetwoodTwo of us ate here on 28 Jun 06 - what a wonderful experience. The fixed price 3 course dinner was only £12.50 and the starter alone was a feast with spring roll, chicken satay, spare ribs, prawn toast and chinese seaweed. There was a good choice of mains, I had spicy kung po chicken (beware the sliced chillies with seeds in!) and my partner had sizzling beef in ginger and spring onion - both of a high quality and washed down with a house wine that was delicious and for the quality, very reasonable at £11.50. To crown it all, the staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. Finally, a test of any restaurant for me is the state of the toilets - if they are bad it makes me worry about the kitchen - no prob here, all spotless and fresh.
Michael Wan’s Mandarin – BlackpoolI had a great evening here, had to wait a short while for a table but we'd been warned to book and I now know why; excellent food, attentive staff and an interesting wine list. The ambience would have received top marks but for another diner making a ruckus, even so we stayed for over three hours, the food was so good. Highly recommended.
Golden Palace – BlackpoolFriendly service, good food, reasonably priced...highly recommend
Michael Wan’s Mandarin – BlackpoolVery friendly staff, great service and great food. What more is there to say? I'm an infrequent visitor to Blackpool but if I'm ever in the area again and wanting to eat I know where I'll be going. High recommended.
Taylors Fish And Chips – BlackpoolWhat a wonderful experience!! We have been last week for the MONTHLY WINE TASTING NIGHT; it was an absolutely delightful dinning experience! They do a special 4 course menu with plenty of choices in each course for the night, and each course comes with a special matching wine. What else can you find such tailor made food for a perfect glass of wine? Also, they have invited a wine specialist to the venue discussing and explaining to each guest about their food and wine. So, I have gained a few good tips on how to choose the perfect wine for different food. The good thing is they do the wine tasting every 3rd Friday of each month with a brand new menu and a brand new wine list. So, I can go back every month to enjoy such wonderful meal and wine again and again. Anyone who loves good food and wine should definitely give a try!
Pizza and Pasta – Thornton-CleveleysWe travel from Canterbury in Kent every summer to dine at Twelve. It is the finest restaurant we have ever been to. The food is our of this world. The atmosphere is so friendly and welcoming. For Caroline and Paul, the restaurant is an extension of the caring industry, they really do care about every single customer and respond to their needs and wants. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone. It is truly a dining experience.
Twelve – Thornton-CleveleysI visited Blackpool, on a quite windy day, and was relived to get into some where warm, and friendly. That was what greeted me at Harry Ramsdens. The staff were excellent, they made my family and me very welcome, and couldn? do enough for us, the food very hot, and very tasty. The best fish and chips I have had in many years. I look forward to my trip to Blackpool again with much eagerness for ill return to Harry Ramsdens.
Harry Ramsdens – BlackpoolThe food was fantastic. Absolutely loved it and i know the reason why it is such a popular choice. The food was relatively cheap for what you get, the atmosphere great and in a good location for a night out after. The staff were extremely helpful yet embarrassing when i got my birthday cake but all in all we had a superb night and would definitely go again.
