Excellent food, service and ambience. Our only quibble would be the price of the wine. A litre of liebfraumilch £13.95? This costs less than £4.00 in a supermarket and the mark up seems unreasonably excessive. Would still return as we had such a nice evening and the food was amazing. Very friendly place, felt quite at home.

In the last four years we have tried various Indian restaurants in the area and frequently would travel into Blackpool to find a good curry. Since the opening of Gemma and meeting Icky and his staff we have never gone anywhere else recommending the restaurant frequently and always inviting our friends along. The food is fabulous and the service the staff offer is second to none, not to mention the 8.95 deal.

After a little shopping at Morrison? yesterday, I was rather peckish and I was highly recommended to Taylor? by a member of staff who eats there religiously! What an outstanding fish and chips the quality of the food was more than anticipated already and it was cooked to perfection, I could ask for no more.

The best and worst Indian meals I have ever tasted were ironically both in Blackpool. The Sunam was by far the best and the quality of the food and the service was excellent. It is well worth a visit and they accept children-my little boy had 10 pints and a Vindaloo. Only kidding!! He had 5 pints!!!!!!

Visited with family many time find nice place with lots of changes, a new thing i like is peacocks & rabbits, ducks in backgarden kids enjoyed a lot . the meal was outstanding with free complementary drink . nice clean place..

Have visited Taylors 'chippy several times now as its the ideal plaice (har har) to come when arriving to, or leaving Blackpool with it still being close to the sea front but far enough away to be a bit quieter. The food is lovely and the prices are very cheap considering the usual price of stuff in Blackpool. Definitely recommend it to anyone and will be visiting again in the near future.

Being born in the Far East it was a refreshing change to enjoy a restaurant like this, it gave me a feeling of being back in the Far East with the clever mix of food types and styles. I have been to the Gurkha a few times now have not been disappointed once, even my children enjoyed the meal and trying to please a 2 and 5 year old with food that is totally new, not easy. The menu is varied and the food as fantastic. Drinks are a little expensive but for a great night out with family or a group of friends i would strongly recommend the Gurkha.

We have eaten here several times and have never been disappointed. The menu has an extensive choice with plenty of specials. We turned up on Friday night (without booking) and had to wait a few minutes for a table. 2 starters, 2 mains, 2 beers and a garlic bread all for under £40.00 - bargain!!

Went out with family, had a really good night, food was slow at being served, but well worth the wait as you could taste the freshness, would recommend the stuffed peppers they were excellent, I am not a veggie but fancied a change, take the family on a nice summer evening & you will not regret it.

I am a neighbour to this restaurant & dine there regularly, the food is always fresh tasting & served to a high standard, you can go in on any night of the week & whether it is busy or not you always get the best service that they can give. Used to live around the corner from here, they are so friendly it's unbelievable, still call in occasionally & get a take-away, highly recommended. MY PARROT LOVED THE PRAWN TOASTS, if you are reading this at the take-away you know who I am. Thanks for many beautiful meals & good conversation.

We had lunch here recently and it was delicious. I have never eaten a cheese pie as good. The pastry was perfect and it was filled with warm soft chewy cheese. The accompanying chips were thick and crispy. Alternatively you can have a salad which is fresh, colourful, varied and comes with homemade coleslaw. The portions are generous and the prices reasonable. The slice of lemon meringue pie with ice cream I had (large choice, but recommend cinder toffee!) was a sweet lover's dream. We are going back soon!
