Novello – LythamA Great Meal In A Friendly Family Run Restaurant, Best Steak I have Ever Had In Blackpool.
Truffles Restaurant – BlackpoolThe cooked breakfast is highly recommended. Full English breakfast prepared from local produce, delicious
Capricorn Cafe – FleetwoodWould highly recommend. Excellent food, quick and friendly service. Reasonable prices.
Wah Wahs – BlackpoolExcellent restaurant, both for eat-in & take aways. We've eaten in several times & just had our first takeaway - absolutely brilliant - with free delivery too !!
Gemma Indian Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaOutstanding service, friendly staff and very quick. The food was excellent, good pasta and pizza and an amazing dessert menu! Good prices, value for money. Only bad point was that there was no non-smoking area.
San Marcos – BlackpoolReally nice starter of sweet, fresh tomatoes, tangy pesto and a soft, young mozzarella. This was followed by an equally good main of some of the best lamb ever, so sweet and tender noissettes stuffed with apricots and saffron rice. The coriander crushed potatoes which accompanied it were outstanding. A thick, sticky jus complimented the aroma of the potatoes and saffron with the sweetness of the meat perfectly. A little disappointed with the dessert, orange marinated in grand marinara, nice, - but orange skin was a bit thought. All in all, a truly fabulous meal - with very nice wine too.
Zumo Cafe – GarstangWe were half way through eating our fish and chips when we realised why the fish was so delicious and different - you know how you normally end up with a big heavy free-standing shell of greasy batter that you can pick the fish out of (and then preferably throw the batter away) - well here the batter was a much lighter coating that just gave the fish a delicious crispy edge. I shall definitely go back for more.
Lytham Fish and Chips – LythamIt was a cold Friday night and the stars were glistening. We had been out the night before so didn? want to go out drinking consecutively. We decided to head straight for a curry. With me and my 3 chums eager to eat we burst through the door to be greeted with a pleasant ambience and the friendly face of one of the staff members. After only a few moments we were sat in the main eating arena and with our heads in the menus. I chose the Lamb Bhuna, my friends, the chicken korma and chicken madras. After only 15 minutes the curries were delivered by a friendly member of staff. All 3 of us were more than happy with the excellent taste of spice and texture in the delicious mouth-watering curries. The only downside, was on leaving we thought they had made a fatal error by charging us for 6 curries rather than just the 3, this was not the case, but we were more than happy to pay as our belly's were full to the brim. we would give this marvellous curry house a overall rating of 9.2/10
Ashiana Tandoori Restaurant – KirkhamCan't fault this Chinese at all. Never had a bad meal, staff are always polite and courteous. This restaurant has recently been renovated and it looks great. Nearly nice, relaxing atmosphere.
Lou-Shang Cantonese Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaWent recently for my birthday. We sat on low seats which made the evening exciting. (Should have worn trousers!) The food was lovely, the service was really good with lots of smiles and chats. I would love to go again soon and would recommend to all.
Mews Thai – Poulton-Le-FyldeVisited for Sunday lunch 20.08.06. and was very impressed. Staff were polite and courteous and the meal was delicious. Rather expensive for a lunchtime (£70+ for four diners) but we didn't mind the price because you get what you pay for. Will definitely return.
The Broughton Inn – GarstangSeniors at Marsh Mill, Thornton is their latest restaurant and is well worth a visit. We enjoyed a delicious meal there tonight and would like to wish Rick and family the success they fully deserve. You will enjoy an excellent selection of delicious fish served with great friendliness in modern, comfortable and above all super clean surroundings.
Seniors – BlackpoolMy wife and I are regulars to this establishment and live in Lytham. We went last night and they have refurbished it to a very high and modern standard. The food has also had a refresh, but with all the old favourites so you can not fail to find something you like!! If it is not too busy, Aahad is open to going off the menu with a variation on a meal of your own choice. We are total fans of this recently improved Lytham landmark eatery. Well done guys keep it up!! Andy & Helen
Red Fort – LythamThe chicken kebab with garlic mayonnaise is to die for, and the Nile special pizza is quite simply the best I have ever tasted.
Nile, The – KirkhamBy far the best venue for Sunday lunch in the Fylde. It's recently undergone a bit of a modernisation but it still retains that grand formal feel. perfect for special occasions!
Clifton Arms Hotel – Lythamtake away - fantastic - use it lots - they time the order to coincide with my visit to the taps, and as a regular I even get free poppadom!!
Fylde Spice – Lythami went for the first time on Tuesday which i thought would not be busy but for the size of the restaurant and the tables it was nearly full. Obviously a good sign. After being told how the buffet works we decided to go and try it. We were not disappointed. Food was fantastic and the service was excellent and friendly. For what you got the price was more than reasonable and i will definitely revisit this place.
