We had the Chicken Korma and the Potato and Spinach curry and shared. Both dishes were gorgeous. Never tasted better. The twisted rice was great too. Would upgrade to the twisted chips next time as the ordinary ones were...ordinary. Music a bit full on for this curry veteran but the superb food trumps that - and the slightly wonky tables. Not the cheapest but I can see why it was voted the best.
Twisted Indian Street Food – BlackpoolWe thoroughly enjoyed the food, though my husband wanted a spicier coronation chicken! We loved the way the sandwiches were served. We enjoyed the tour of the hall and felt the tea room also had a lovely feel. The service was excellent - plenty of tea and coffee. We appreciated the way the lower plates could be taken out and the cake stand removed so we could see each other across the table ! The little cakes and deserts were lovely and the cream tea - always a favourite! Beautiful scones.

This was our first time having the georgian afternoon tea but it won't be our last. We came as a big group and one of us had a specific dietary requirement which was catered for very well. Simon looked after us and was a fantastic host. All the staff were friendly and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The room was gorgeous and the table was beautifully set. Absolutely lovely.

The Clifton Arms At Warton – FreckletonWent for our 12th wedding anniversary on Saturday evening and had an excellent meal. The food is always good here but on Saturday it was really very good. The quality of ingredients and attention to detail really set this apart as a restaurant that really loves what they do and have a product they are rightly proud of. The service is attentive without being overbearing and there is a real buzz to the atmosphere. A special place run by special people.
Un Momento – St Annes on SeaAnother lovely lunchtime passed in a friendly setting. The real plus point for me here is the different settings within the setting. Whether you want a quiet corner just to take a breather, to sit inside or outside, just to sit and people watch with a coffee or full on chatter you can find the right space here according to your mood.

Desserts we're superb and the service second to none with a special mention for Daniella.. who went out of her way to make us happy.

Thyme – PoultonA lovely afternoon tea. Although I appreciate this lovely Georgian building , I did find the room a little dark and fusty feeling. The service was very attentive. The quality of food was good although the scone a little disappointing and I felt fresh clotted cream rather than long life in a jar would have been preferred.
