We returned to Guys Thatched Hamlet on Monday this week after what seemed a lifetime in dining out. And wow, not only was the food as fabulous as normal especially the fegatini, rib eye and chicken a la creme but the whole restaurant looks amazing and the service was excellent. It had just the same if not more atmosphere than before. We will be returning very soon.

We were served by a lovely waiter called Cameron who was very attentive and looked after us all night. Couldn’t fault it, 10/10 we will be back!

Pipers – GarstangWe visited this restaurant / leisure complex recently and went in one of the restaurants on site: it was like a pub but it was very dark, I ordered lasagne, when the dish came it was burnt and hard on the edges and I couldn’t get a knife through it. I sent it back and ordered another dish which was equally bad. Never going there again. Terrible food, dirty restaurant, poor lighting, uneven surfaces outside.

Pipers – GarstangLovely evening the meal was delicious - Goat's cheese starter, tuna and followed by a delightful apple, raisin and nut tart. My husband enjoyed a Moroccan mushroom starter, venison and a chocolate mousse in an a sphere which he thought was heaven. Staff are friendly and attentive. Thank you for a memorable evening. Pipers – GarstangOur Women's Institute chose Pipers for this year's 'birthday' celebration. The menu was devised for us by Ian - 3 choices per course - and the food pre-ordered because of numbers. On the night, the food was delicious and the service excellent. All in all, a very convivial evening in a lovely setting. Thank you Team Piper.
