My daughter,her year old son and 10 friends with their 8 children under 18 months all went here for lunch today. All the mums ordered a main meal and drink for themselves. Then the trouble started. The waitress pointed out that the babies could not consume their own home prepared food. Then it was pointed out that entrance fees had not been paid, but this was a pre booked birthday party. The final insult from a senior staff member was that the mother holding the party should not use her own, home prepared dinosaur cake. This is a special childrens venue who obviously dislike children....avoid it if you want a happy experience..go somewhere else where the little ones are seen as future customers!!

The ambiance of this establishment is intoxicating and the management have managed to preserve that magical atmosphere for all the years I have been dinning here. The quality of the staff and food is superb and never deviates in its excellence. Ian Feltell.

What a hidden gem! Can honestly say the cheese and onion pie is the best I've ever had! My new favourite place to eat!

I go to Jean's Pantry regularly, usually once a week but sometimes it can be more. Lovely atmosphere and it feels really friendly. In going so often, you get to know one another and it feels like you're a member of the family.

Food good. My experience of some of the staff is poor. Lady behind counter was unfortunately rude and lacking in customer service skills.

Ali and his staff are great, friendly, always remember us and their food is always grade A. Recommend that anyone pops in and watches them get to work in the kitchen preparing delicious food for a very reasonable price.

Had a great meal there last week,fine food,good ale and first class service by friendly staff.

Was looking for a good meal however service very slow. 4 tables occupied only, had two with us 45 minutes later still no food. Very poor.

if the food had been spectacular i would not have minded the dire service however it wasn't. it was OK but not good enough to be snapped at by the woman behind the counter. my food had taken longer than expected and id enquired about it as the 2 customers behind me had already been served and left, at this point i felt the response had been more abrupt than necessary but accepted the response that there was a wait for the sausages to be cooked. I was then conversing with the customer behind about the difference between a sandwich and a butty and was rudely instructed not to be "slagging them off to the other customers" . I assume she decided that was what our conversation was about but it wasn't although if id known how rude she would be it might well have been. certainly shan't eat there again. Ive heard them be rude to people before and bought fish which turned out to be stale a fortnight ago - hence the sausages this time. enough is enough ill find somewhere else to buy.

Fancied a day out in the Lancashire countryside. We visited Cobble Hey Farm with our son. We really enjoyed our lunch before we visited the animals in the barn and had a lovely walk around the gardens!

We tendered a PREMIER INN CARD at the outset of the meal and it was dismissed.At the end of the meal they stated that they could/would not take THE PREMIER INN CORPORATE CARDS and that we could not leave until cash or another means of payment was secured..THE DIRECTORS PENDLE ASSET MANAGEMENT LTD

Best takeaway in Garstang, definitely recommended!!!

We took the kids here a few weeks ago and we all loved it! The food was good and well priced, the service impeccable, Erminio has them all well trained! The kids loved the train and especially the pizza section being in the restaurant so they could watch and even join in when some dough was thrown our way! An excellent family restaurant!!

recently moved to the area and Dante's has quickly become my favourite place. Exceeds a lot of Italian Restuarants and excellent prices .

Worst resturant ive been too staff rude and very unfriendly .. Service rubbish .. Was made to feel we wasent welcome .. Food horrible .. Couldnt eat it !!! Menu was very limited as most things wasent avalible sold out !! Watress put a hot bowl of soup over my toddlers head to place it on the table !! Not one member of staff smiled the whole time we where there .. And since returing home my husband has been glued to the toilet ... Would i recommened this place NO
