The Codrington Arms – Chipping SodburyMy wife and I came for a meal on Saturday night while staying in Tewkesbury for our anniversary. We were warmly greeted on arrival by friendly staff who were helpful with questions and recommendations. Service was excellent and the food was DELICIOUS! The prices were also really good! Overall we had a lovely meal and would be very happy to come again next time we're in the area!
Caffe e Vino – TewkesburySuch good and fast service, waiters were so friendly, meals were delishious 100% recomend
Chester House Hotel – CheltenhamMy wife and I have have eaten here a few times with my parents who live close by. The food has been excellent every time. The homemade pies fantastic. There's usually a selection of three pies in a shortcrust pastry and they are delicious. Their pavlova is another favourite of mine. All the food is well-prepared and presented and offers excellent value for money. My father commented that the scampi had decent size prawns inside the batter, unlike another local establishment he'd been to recently where the scampi was batter and mush. All the staff are very friendly and it feels like a proper country pub. When it comes to the quality of the food served compared to the price you pay, this is the best place to eat in the Yate area.
The Codrington Arms – Chipping SodburyMy go-to choice for authentic Italian dining combined with excellent service. The chef is worth his own weight in saffron. It's fun improving my basic Italian vocabulary with the staff too.
Caffe e Vino – TewkesburyExcellent lunch, great place. I had 'sandwich' focaccia, which was substantial and delicious, followed by home-made tiramisu. The 0 alcohol Peroni beer was excellent too. Friendly and efficient service, I'll definitely go back.
Caffe e Vino – TewkesburyFood was lovely but service was awfully slow and they forgot things when we asked. We are not picky but service was poor. To top it off, an automatic 10% service charge was added. If it was my choice - I would have removed it. Shame as the food was lovely
Chester House Hotel – CheltenhamA warm welcome, great service, friendly customers and a delicious meal that was very good value for money . We loved it!
The Bear Inn – StroudLovely truly authentic Italian homemade food. Delightful staff. Highly recommend.
Caffe e Vino – TewkesburyReally good food. Our starters: meatballs & delicious polenta bread and scallop. Mains: mushroom ravioli and mussels & chips. Dessert: tart tatin. Efficient and friendly service. Good prices.
Chester House Hotel – CheltenhamFabulous experience as always, with Davide and the team looking after us from start to finish, and real care taken to provide great service and delicious, authentic Italian food. The specials menu is great, very seasonal and always something tasty on there. No better way to spend a Saturday lunch time!
Caffe e Vino – Tewkesbury5 star
The Bear Inn – StroudHighly recommend this beauty!! Amazing food :) I want to give a big thank you to Jake for taking care of my boyfriend and I with fantastic customer service. He's a credit to all of you and a genuine friendly guy.
Chester House Hotel – CheltenhamExcellent as ever! So lovely to treat my husband to breakfast as he usually works Saturdays x
Caffe e Vino – TewkesburyWe’d booked this restaurant for my sisters birthday, but unfortunately was disappointed despite the great reviews I’d read online. Asked if we could delay our table for 30 mins and was told no as they were too busy - for the entire hour and a half we were in there no one else was there. The young server was very helpful but the food was bland and watery across all dishes. It was extremely cold in there too, even tho it was 20 degrees outside and all doors were shut, the temperature made it uncomfortable. Wouldn’t recommend or visit back again.
Chester House Hotel – CheltenhamUnfortunately wouldn’t recommend or visit again. We had booked here for my sisters birthday and was very disappointed. We’d asked to delay our table by 30 mins and was told they were too busy - for the hour and a half we were there, there was nobody else in the restaurant. The food was bland across all the dishes we had and the room we ate in was so cold it was uncomfortable. Despite the good reviews this unfortunately wasn’t our experience. Our server however was very helpful and very friendly
