Right on the high street in Winchcombe in a characterful old place where John Wesley once stayed -- hence the name. AA rosetted Modern British food, a good wine list, and good service (the maitre d' is Peruvian but sounds French). The bar area is charming with a huge fireplace while the restaurant is more contemporary in style. It's a restaurant with rooms too so you can stay over. As an aside, just down the road is an award-winning tea room run by a Japanese couple which is well worth a visit for their full-on afternoon teas.

This excellent restaurant is a true asset to Cheltenham. Fantastic opulent surroundings which are cosy and comfortable, a really nice family running the establishment and the food is cooked by a real chef - Sam Krori who owns the premises. Sam and his family take great pride in running their beautiful restaurant which has been completely refurbished and it really shows in every element of the place. In short - the best Bangladeshi food in and out of Bangladesh, fantastic ambience and great ambience. Personally recommend - Sweet and Spicy Honey Chicken and Fish Masala - yummy!

Curry Corner Indian Restaurant – Cheltenham

We have been regulars at the India Lounge since it opened and can thoroughly recommend it. The food is excellent and it's clear that quality ingredients are used and careful thought and preparation goes into producing the dishes. Service is friendly and attentive and the decor is contemporary and tasteful. In our view the best Indian restaurant in Cheltenham.

Terrible restaurant. Awful food, nothing vegetarian, frosty atmosphere. No one I know has enjoyed a meal here - it makes me wonder how much repeat business they get. I realise you won't publish this report - you only publish positive comments - hardly surprising therefore that no one has previously written a report for this place. I'm sure they were all negative.

This is without doubt the best Indian / Bangladeshi restaurant I have ever been to. Decided to eat at the Curry Corner following keen recommendations by the hotel I am staying in for the Festival and reading the rave reviews on the restaurant by diners and critics alike. And they were all true. The food served by this restaurant is unparalleled. I have eaten in many of the local Indian restaurants on my past visits to Cheltenham but am so glad that I have at last discovered a real gem of a place where the quality of food goes hand in hand with luxurious surroundings and there is even a really stylish lounge bar - which is a real find - excellent for drinks before and after dinner. Truly in a league of their own.

We had Sunday dinner here on the 17/2/08 and it was fantastic we had 2 courses for 10.95 and the roast beef with home made Yorkshire pudding was perfect and my wife had roast pork with crackling all the food was fresh and tasted wonderful, We both had Apricot and Brioche bread and butter pudding. We have now booked for mothers day what a gem of a place good food at good prices

Rather dated and slightly shabby interior, limited range of drinks. Could be a lovely place, but needs updating, some new ideas and enthusiasm, and a good spring clean. It's really rather a Cinderella place at the moment.

Nice, modern restaurant in an attractive, quaint old building. Good range of choice on the menu, mainly Mediterranean style dishes - as you would expect from a place named The Olive Tree!

I have been eating there regularly for the last few months and have always found the food very good and reasonably priced too!

Wonderfood Noodle Bar – Gloucester

A lovely place to eat - the food was excellent. We had the bargain £10 for 2 courses menu (only available on Mondays or before 7pm) - stuffed aubergines slices followed by tuna steaks. Both were excellent, well cooked and a good combination of flavours in the dishes. The service was top notch too.

We had a good meal, I had a steak, the wife had shoulder of lamb, and a lovely pint of Buddings, a local beer. Unpretentious and very modestly priced. Recommended.

It was very enjoyable. A great place for all the family.

TGI Fridays – Cheltenham
Amberley Inn

Had Sunday Lunch here in September, only Sunday roast available, which you would think would be easy for the kitchen. Restaurant was not particularly busy, however everyones food was luke warm, vegetables soggy and yorkshire puddings like concrete. Apart from the stunning view, this pub had nothing else going for it, and I would definitely not return!
