my daughter has been violently ill after having a meal at this restaurant....she had chicken Jalfrezi.

Kashmir Restaurant – Cheltenham
Foodiebob

From the outside a little unprepossessing. However, once inside a haven of peace. Lovely discreet waitstaff, short but very very creative menu. An amazing selection of mainly local raw materials turned into extraordinary dishes. I had spider crab gazpacho. Delicate and with just a little gazpacho not to drown it.. Then suckling pork with anise. We were, quite frankly, gob-smacked. And the cheese board was a monster. Accompanied too with some very very good wine. Especially strong on French regionals. All in all a real wow. Amazed they are not up in the Michelin league

Restaurant Allium – Cirencester
Milkmaid

Just this Saturday gone (17th July), we had chinese food as our party food, all kept warm in the heaters Henrys provided. We had servings of food brought down by staff twice in the evening from the restaurant, all the food was gone in minutes, fantastic. All who ate the food at the party were very complimentary, thanks Henry and staff.

What a great place - the new Managers, Donna and Phil, are great fun and give attention to service - I will definitely be back

Rising Sun The – Frampton Cotterell

The Wild Duck at Ewen. The food took 40 minutes to arrive and when I complained to the manager he did not accept that this was a problem and was very rude to me. The food was ok, although the roast beef was very tough. However, the appalling service ruined what was a birthday treat for my mother

Wild Duck – Cirencester

Wonderful old Inn serving great food and with a good strong base of pleasant local drinkers. This place oozes olde worlde charm and has a great team of friendly helpful staff.

This place is terrible, and is not worth a visit. My friends and I called to have lunch, and most things on the menu were not available, the beer was not in good condition and the hosts were uninterested. We went to the Farmers Arms about 2 miles down the road which was excellent. We will not go back to the Hawbridge inn - ever !!

Hawbridge Inn – Gloucester
Richard Cheltenham

Fantastic new restaurant which offers something really different from the norm in cheltenham, amazing value and a faultless night out.

Friends and I visited the other week, and on the basis of one of the recommendations above we tried the Spicy Vegetable Triangles - and they are absolute delicious! I order egg-free Egg Fried Rice - yes, honestly, and the Manager came to check that it wasn't due to an allergy. It isn't, I just hate eggs. Now I call that service :) The rices arrived in covered china pots, the food on hot plates, and we were given little bowls to transfer the food into. My friend's meal came in a hard noodle bowl. So clever! We all enjoyed our meal - and the continued top ups of coffee, proving it is the little things that matter. The main dining room is lovey, as are the three other little spaces which I discovered on my way to the toilet. If you are looking for an intimate party for 6-8 then there is an area just for that. A lovely restaurant with attentive staff. Very impressed.

We ate here earlier tonight and found the whole experience fantastic. A great welcome, friendly (although a little keen to clear away the plates) and an amazing choice of food for the buffet. At £13.50 all you can eat, it was brilliant value and found the choice of Indian and Thai flavours amazing. A huge plus was the amount of Gluten and Wheat Free choice, and my partner who doesn't have to worry about wheat didn't even know the difference Definitely be visiting again

Vinings Restaurant – Gloucester
Debs

I went to Coco bistro on Friday night, and as a French lady, the only word that i can use to describe the food at Coco is 'insulting'. I have never been so disappointed after reading reviews on here saying how great it is.. The jug of white wine tasted as if water was added, the snails were cooked very badly with SPINACH on it, instead of garlic and butter - and the snails must have started frozen and they just tasted of water!! yuck! the duck was under cooked (How is this possible for a confit???) Someone said they can smell Michelin star on an other review... well the only thing i can smell with that comment... is a rat!!! And for a bistro, surly you should have more than six white and six red wines on the menu??? I will never go there again, and if people really believe that this is a true reflection of French cuisine, they are sadly mistaken!!

Bistrot Coco – Cheltenham
