Beautiful roast! We both had a great meal, can fault anything. The mince pie custard tart was delicious. Service was superb. Excellent all round. Will definitely be back!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal on Sunday 22 December. Everything was perfectly cooked with generous portions and served piping hot. We visit Harry’s Bar / cafe regularly and we can always be ensured of tasty food and good coffee. The ambience and staff are very welcoming and we look forward to our next visit in the New Year. Thank you all.

What an amazing meal we’ve just had at Harry’s at Yew Tree Barn. Scott was on top form once again with a mouthwatering turkey dinner with all the trimmings. The food was all exceptional and not a crumb was left! There was only one issue… how on earth do I follow that when making Christmas dinner for the family?! Seriously, hats off to the team… service was brilliant, food unbeatable and a great atmosphere too. Well done team.

Great festive Sunday lunch ! The place was bustling . Very tasty vegetarian option, well presented and cooked beautifully with a delicious tart to follow. Staff attentive, friendly and helpful. A great start to the Christmas celebrations. We’ll be back early in the New Year

Had a fantastic 3 course meal last Friday at the supper club. The greeting when we arrived was friendly and professional. The atmosphere and low sounding music was perfect. Food was imaginative, delicious, hot and well presented. Well done team Harry. We will be back soon. Karen, Neil & Julia

Last night, we had the pleasure of dining at Harry’s Café, and it was an experience to remember. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was enchanting. The pathway leading to the barn was beautifully illuminated with candles and fire pits, setting a warm and inviting tone. Upon entering, we were welcomed with a choice of a glass of bubbles, mulled wine, or another drink of our preference. I opted for the mulled wine, which was simply delightful and the perfect start to the evening. We were then seated, and soon after, our starter arrived: beetroot-cured salmon with horseradish cream. It was exquisitely prepared and absolutely delicious. This was followed by an enormous and equally delicious roast turkey with all the trimmings. While I couldn’t quite manage all the vegetables, the meal was nothing short of perfection. To top it all off, we were treated to a local cheese platter accompanied by a complimentary glass of port from Harry himself, which was a thoughtful and much-appreciated touch. The evening was truly special—my wife and I enjoyed the perfect blend of good company, privacy, and a culinary experience that exceeded expectations. Harry’s Café delivered in every way, and we can’t wait to return!

We really enjoyed our Festive Supper on Friday evening. The best turkey ever, with lots of delicious 'trimmings'. Great service and a nice choice of interesting wines. Looking forward to more supper evenings in 2025.

Great to have the Sunday lunch back again, -- the standard is as good as before, -- excellent. People with large appetites will be happy at the quality and quantity of vegetables.

Great roast dinner, beef and pork choices. Lashings of gravy and piping hot. Been a couple of times now and it’s consistently good. Friendly bar staff and good service.

Lovely steak pie, was delicious. The rest of the dishes were OK, my daughter enjoyed the burger but the other children's food was not great. The decor and seating was not that inviting or cosy and was tired. Staff were friendly enough but felt it lacked atmosphere, definitely needs some TLC
