A very nice and cosy restaurant. Food was wonderful and reasonably priced, and the staff serving us was most helpful and polite. Location is just next to the bus stop.

Delicious food, we really enjoyed it. The menu is so well thought out, exciting and cooked perfectly. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting, a lovely little restaurant. All the staff are brilliant, friendly, helpful, efficient, personable. Definitely good value for money, a real treat.

Every year we visit this superb Bistro. The food is always top class and the new specials board is excellent. Caring and thoughtful staff and the owner/chef always has time to converse with the clientele.

Lovely evening., booked online when we arrived and luckily a table was available. The food was superb and the staff very friendly. The restaurant was busy with a good atmosphere and dogs are welcome too

Always book an evening, or two here when staying in the Lakes. Really first class food and atmosphere, would easily surpass some high end restaurants. The best kept secret in Grasmere.

Food delicious. Service spot on. Such a lovely atmosphere. Very enjoyable. Both had the King Prawn curry and it was excellent.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meals last Friday evening. This was our second visit. There is a great choice of dishes cooked to perfection. Staff friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend

We enjoyed an excellent meal! Superbly cooked and well presented food. Great service, not overly expensive compared to other eateries offering inferior food for similar prices. Would definitely recommend, and will certainly be going back when we next visit Grasmere.

This is a lovely quirky restaurant. The food was excellent, the ostrich fillet was a great success whilst my hot and sour chicken was beautiful. The service was great and there was a friendly atmosphere. Would highly recommend

Without doubt a highlight of our stay in the lakes. Great food, for once I would have been happy to have chosen any of the dishes on the menu. It was so appetising. Very well prepared and flavourful obviously by a talented chef. Excellent service and a comfortable atmosphere. Would highly recommend this restaurant to all.

Visited on Thursday 26th June for dinner, Had a fab meal , the staff were very attentive and Libby was exceptional. Highly recommend a visit to this Bistro.

Lovely food and exceptional service

Decided to try Lewis's while staying at a Hotel in Grasmere and glad we did. Great food, great menu choices, good selection of wines and great staff. This place was full on a Tuesday night so make sure you make a reservation on their web site. We will be back!.
