We had a fabulous meal at Lewis's Bistro last night. The food was excellent and plentiful and it was a bonus to have some tasty choices as a vegan. The service was great, friendly and the staff were attentive without being obtrusive. Highly recommend Lewis's Bistro.

I had the salmon which was cooked perfectly and my partner had the steak again cooked perfectly, we shared a pudding which was delicious too. If we ever visit Grasmere again which I am sure we will we will most definitely eat here again. The atmosphere and staff are great. Well worth a visit.

We arrived 15 minutes early and were very surprised how popular the restaurant was, and we were given the last available table. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The food arrived very quickly because the other guests were either eating or had finished their meal. We had a bottle of wine, and although it was a little expensive it was very good. Overall, we had a nice time and enjoyed the meal and wine, and we will definitely eat there again next time we are staying in Grasmere.
