Great food, great service & a great venue. Filet steak cooked to perfection. 100% recommended, one of the best restaurants in lakeland.

Had a meal at Lewis's Bistro on Tuesday evening after reading reviews and was very pleased we did! Great food great service and a great atmosphere. Will return whenever we are in the Lake District again 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

A lovely little bistro with plenty of atmosphere, friendly efficient service and most importantly wonderful food at reasonable prices. What more to like! We will definitely be back next time we are staying in the area.

What a gem! We always make sure we visit when coming to the Lakes. The food is delicious and expertly cooked. Service is friendly and professional. Can’t fault it.

We've eaten at Lewis's Bistro a few times now when we are in Grasmere and every meal has been memorable. Food is perfectly cooked (the sauces particularly fine!) and while the wine list is small, it's perfectly formed. The service from the friendly staff is skilled and attentive. Highly recommended, we are already looking forward to a return visit.

lovely family restaurant, warm and welcoming and superb food - we had scallops for starters, filet steak and eaton mess and affogato for dessert - all absolutely first class and great service. Our first visit of 2025 did not disappoint. We had a lovely warm welcome from Amanda & Lewis. The food was amazing as always. We will be back in June & would highly recommend any one to visit this lovely cosy Bistro in the beautiful village of Grasmere. We have been going to this Bistro for at least 7 years and it never disappoints.

Our second visit did not disappoint. Quietish early evening slot and everything was good. The food was delicious and the service was smooth.

Had a absolutely lovely meal here while we were staying in Grassmere. I had Scallops to start cooked to perfection, followed by surf and turf. My husband had terrine to start followed by the lamb rump every element delightful. Small family run business really excellent service. We would come back if in the area again thank you.
