Goody Blake’s – GrasmereMy spouse and I enjoyed our evening dinner- Rump of Lamb and Sea Bass -in a convivial atmosphere, marginally spoiled by a noisy group of six on an adjacent table. The service was friendly and efficient without any delay. The dessert choice was good and we chose Eton Mess / hot Eccles cake with sticky pudding sauce, both were excellent. As for value for money, I felt the proprietors have it spot on and we will visit again I’m sure.

Our meal was excellent, really tasty and decent sized portions. The steak was really good quality and perfectly tender. A lovely experience all round, thank you!

Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereHad a great meal on saturday 26th april. Stuffed mushroom and then sea bass was very nice, and the friendly staff put a candle on the cheesecake and sang happy birthday to my wife as we were celebrating her birthday. Nice touch.Would deffo come back

We enjoyed it so much on our first nights stay locally that we booked there and then to go back on our last night too. Highly recommend!
