We had a really lovely meal at Lewis's Bistro. The scallops were a particularly tasty starter and we both enjoyed the lamb & cod loin for mains. I had sticky toffee for dessert which was generous in size and delicious! My partner had the cheese board which came beautifully presented with a good selection of crackers and accompaniments. We found the staff to be pleasant and helpful. Overall, I would recommend for a lovely, relaxed meal in Grasmere.

On a short break in Grasmere and booked a table at Lewis's Bistro and we were not disappointed. Cosy restaurant and lovely welcome from the staff. Varied menu good choices also good choice of beverages. A must place to visit if you're in Grasmere.

A beautiful meal to celebrate a big birthday. Super friendly staff. Amazing food & lovely varied menu choices. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to visit again!

We had the pleasure of early doors ( first sitting ) dining at Lewis's during our recent visit to Grasmere, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. After making our online booking, we arrived at the restaurant with our furry friend, a cocker spaniel, and were greeted warmly by the staff, who were all incredibly courteous and accommodating. Despite having had lunch earlier in the day, we couldn't resist trying the Surf & Turf for our main course, and we were not disappointed. The food was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. Although in my wife's opinion her steak was slightly more cooked than she had requested (rare), it was still very enjoyable, and we were both very satisfied with our meal. To accompany our mains, we chose a glass of red wine each from the excellent wine list. The wine was of high quality and complemented our dishes perfectly. Even though we were comfortably full after our mains, we couldn't resist sampling the tempting selection of ice cream flavors for dessert. It was a lovely way to finish off our evening at Lewis's. Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience at Lewis's, and we will definitely be returning the next time we are in Grasmere. The staff made us feel welcome, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was lovely. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area

Fantastic food and service! Steak was cooked to perfection. Visited Grasmere for the first time last year and Lewis’s Bistro was one of the reasons we returned. Lovely food!

Lovely food, good service and nice atmosphere.

This was our first visit to the bistro, it was recommended by a relative that had eaten there previously, we were not disappointed. The booking was really easy which I booked around 6 weeks in advance. On arriving at the bistro we were greeted by very friendly staff, our order was taken and arrived very quickly. The meal was excellent and very attentive staff during our meal. Would definitely recommend this bistro.

We spent two pleasant evenings at Lewis's Bistro. Service was attentive and efficient and the staff were friendly. The French onion soup was the best I've ever tasted and the belly pork was perfectly cooked. The slight downside was the choice of drinks. We had an excellent cider with our pork on the first night but they had run out on the next night. The wine we chose instead was OK but did nothing to enhance our meal.

We loved everything about our visit at Lewis's Bistro. Food & service was top standard. Thanks for a great evening. We will be back next time we're in The Lakes.

This was our second visit to the restaurant. On both occasions the food was excellent and the service very friendly and efficient. There was a good atmosphere and we were made to feel very welcome.

Lovely evening meal with the family - 4 adults & 2 children at Lewis bistro. Friendly, family rub feel with excellent food. Nothing was too much trouble in terms of service.

We had a great meal on our first visit to Lewis’s Bistro, and it definitely won’t be our last. The lady who was in charge was really friendly and accommodated us even though we had not booked till the day of our visit. We both had steak which was cooked to perfection. Great addition to Grasmere.
