Excellent food and service, very friendly ,large portions, loads of choice definitely recommend a visit.

Where do I begin.Away on holiday & was recommended this place by locals as I was looking for somewhere special to celebrate a really special birthday & the menu was what I was looking for.Greated by a lovely girl,seated us,all ok.A young man took our order,one which was a sharing platter and asked for it to come out with the mains along with a starter to do the same also.Drinks arrived,but cocktails took longer as made in another part of the restaurant.15 minutes later the sharing platter arrived,the blooming onion was completely inedible.Swimming in oil & tasted of burnt oil,as where the chicken strips. Waited a few minutes thinking the rest of the meals would be coming out, nothing came.Waited patiently,still nothing,then eventually we asked what was happening with our food. Apologies,it's been ordered to be served asap.We sat and watch people come and go food served almost immediately,still nothing.This went on for almost 2 hours.We was almost at the point of leaving when another waitress came and explained what had happened.Although it wasn't directly her fault,the staff knew we still hadn't received our food but was left. 20.50 our food was finally being cooked (we arrived at 7 with a young child) The waitress was very kind and managed to get us a round of drinks and our food arrived. By this point we had filled up on beverages we were past being hungry so had to ask to take it away. The ribs where nice but the rest wasn't really edible,very greasy & left smelling of cooking oil & really disappointed Which is such a shame,as would of been the perfect place. I don't think I'll be returning anytime soon or recommending to anyone visiting the beautiful caister-on-sea,but wish i had got the young ladies name as she was a star

Excellent food & service To many chips ! Could do with something to put all the bones in etc, staff very helpful, soon brought a dish. Things get a little messy, so larger & better quality serviettes would be useful.

Absolutely fantastic food,friendly helpful staff .if you havnt been before trust me go you will not be disappointed,

A really nice palate of meals for a family gathering .. A little pricey but the steaks were out of this world and the mixed grills resulted in empty clean plates. Service was polite and attentive and the meal prep time was good

Over in Norfolk on a holiday and booked in at the Smokehouse! What a night, amazing drinks and food with impeccable service though out the evening! If we were local it would be a regular! Definitely recommend to anyone planning a trip or more local (lucky!!) thank you to all the team great evening!!

We were looking for somewhere to eat at short notice, they were very accommodating and we were able to inside with our dog which is always a bonus Would like to return for a live music night next time we are in the area

Ordered 6 meals which 5 were lovely, the 6th was inedible. The sliders buns were completely Rick solid and the chicken slider tasted of so much oil it was sickening. Possibly as someone dropped the food on the way out of the kitchen and the replacement order was rushed. Reported to staff who said sorry but offered no replacements or refund. Poor service.

If you like BBQ food, you’ll love this place.!!

Great night out. Lovely food, especially ribs and steak. Lovely puds. Great atmosphere. Good selection of beers and shorts. Too many chips. Many thanks to Roxy for great service and banter.

The food came out at different times but the lady who took our order was very friendly.

The food was disappointing. The burger in particular was dry and tough as though it had been over-cooked or reheated. The food arrived very quickly after placing our order which perhaps meant the food wasn’t cooked to order. The service was great but in terms of the value for money for the quality of food we received it was disappointing.

Popped in after work with the family for a meal and we weren't disappointed. The food was delicious as always and the staff couldn't have been any better. They were attentive, friendly and professional. All social distancing was adhered to and we felt completely safe and at ease. My stepson is vegetarian and although there weren't masses of choice, he was very happy with the plant based hotdog. The desserts were delicious too! Couldn't fault them at all.

Really enjoyed the food but the service wasnt great as the food took way too long. We were in a big group and by the time our food arrived everyone else's had eaten . My brother in law ordered a barbecue sauce and that never came. on the web site it said live music between 3-6pm but there was none there. We booked that time mainly because of the live music. Big dissapointment for everyone.

Well what can I say, what a place! Live music outside with a BBQ grill, great atmosphere inside and the food! Oh my goodness it was delicious! The staff were brilliant, all of them. There was so much choice on the menu and every member of staff that spoke to us was awesome. They made our night really. Seriously, get down to the Smokehouse if you can, it’s well worth it!
