Visited with my husband. We chose the Smokehouse because we live close by and I really fancied some BBQ ribs, the usual fall off the bone meat. Ribs were tough and inedible, lots of fat, not the usual ribs where the meat falls off the bone. Another customer next to us also complained for the same reason. Starters were tasty and we enjoyed our drinks but the food was a major let down. £25 each for a combo type meal, the brisket was nice but ending up with inedible ribs was a huge disappointment so we didn’t really enjoy it. The staff were really friendly and when we spoke to the waitress about our concerns she was really helpful and it very quickly got resolved. Overall, the restaurant is very nicely decorated, good atmosphere, the staff are friendly and a good place to go for drinks. I don’t think we’ll return for a meal.

The service was very prompt but unfortunately we were misinformed about the spareribs we were told they were beef and my family is Muslim and my child ate pork ribs thinking they were beef . He was so upset he cried and when we got home he was violently sick . We weren’t offered compensation. We suggest that you change your menu. So sad that my 60th birthday celebrations were spoiled .

Booked for 5 adults and they were extremely busy people everywhere but have to say got seen very quickly,the service was great and our waitress made us feel we was the only people in there, two had steaks and the rest of us had different burgers what a choice not one of us had a problem with anything in fact 5 completely empty plates. Will definitely be back infact cannot wait. We went on a Thursday evening and there was a bikers convention going on great music and atmosphere a big thank you.

The staff were amazing But the food was no good at all I had ribs there was more fat then meat on them All the food felt like it had just been microwaved Really shame as have been so many times and this time was awful really disappointing

Came here with family on our annual holiday trip for me dad's birthday. The customer service was beyond excellent greeted with happy smiling staff and shown to our table. Offered drinks straight away and ordered our food. The food wait time wasn't long at all and wow! We was overwhelmed with how fantastic the food was. Our only issue was the portion sizes were so large we felt awful that we couldn't finish everything! The food and service was outstanding and we are already looking forward to coming again!! The live music and outdoor entertainment was fantastic also such a fabulous place to visit to have drinks and food and good service and a fabulous time

We had a lovely meal at the smokehouse, wait for food was long (30-45minutes) but it was busy and well worth it. Probably due to a live band event being out the front. The staff are really friendly, and the manager took time to check in on all the customers. The food was AMAZING. Special thanks to branwen who was very knowledgeable in the history and food of the smokehouse

Really looking forward to coming, however did not unfortunately live up to expectations. Staff were very polite and friendly, starters came fairly fast, and was tasty, we were then left with our dirty plates for a long time, and then another long wait for the main course. During which time a separate server came over to check we had ordered main courses? By the time the main arrived (we had been there for an hour and a half) I wasn’t really hungry any more, the burger bun was crispy on the top so had probably been sitting for quite a long time. We did mention the wait upon leaving, but we told to come and see the manager next time we come back, which, seeing as we were there on holiday is unlikely!

First time here as was down on holiday, absolutely amazing food, huge portions! And Abby was great, very helpful and kind. Will definitely go back when back down again.

Anniversary meal but with a twist (no babysitter) So all 6 of us venture out for a mid afternoon feast here and had a smashing time. Food was really good quality and therefore was happy to pay the price for it, some may complain at pricing but I'm a firm believer that you usually get what you pay for and in this case the food couldn't be faulted at all. The concept/theme is not a new one although its one of the best versions I have seen and there was little to fault there too, kids loved it too which is always helpful. Now for the bad bit and this is constructive criticism rather than a complaint. Kids ice-cream milkshakes are too large and one of mine was sick afterwards, 100% my fault for hot having the heart to tell her to stop haha oooops! The main thing here is the staff need some top quality, no expense spared, training and as a commercial decision I suggest you do it fast or all the hard work is ruined. Don't get me wrong, ALL the staff we encountered were lovely natured, polite and courteous just seemed a little unsure, not very timely and so on... Also, just about every drink and plate was placed on the table at the nearest point to them which was in front of an 18 month old in a high chair, only a parent will see the issue there but luckily we only lost one glass of wine and no other incidents. The likelihood is that after lockdown there has been a new wave of staff whom are yet to gain their experience and confidence which is totally understandable and I wish them all well. We will 100% be returning

smokehouse was absolutely amazing ☺️ Went for food with some work friends, the atmosphere was lovely, the girl Abigail who took our order and served us for the night was so nice and the food was delicious! We can’t wait to go again

Good food, juicy brisket and burgers.

Excellent service , especially our waitresses Evie and Abbie . Highly recommend and we finished off watching the band after which just finished the day off well . Loving the new outside area , excellent for watching the bands . Definitely be back .

Booked a table for the family whilst on holiday. Arrived to find approx 200-300 bikers had taken over the place. Heavy metal rock band playing. Not suitable for the family. Extremely disappointing. Would not advise or recommend to anyone sadly. Abused by the groups as we tried to exit. Family left extremely upset and disappointed.
