Most authentic American food I’ve ever eaten

Totally dissatisfied and disappointed!! Will not be returning. Service at beginning and manager rude. Food inedible! Toilets falling apart. Was told the owners would call me to follow up on the appalling visit. No call, emailed them to give another chance and no reply. Such a shame as previous visit could not fault but this time round awful!

Lovely meal, wonderfully friendly staff and a elated atmosphere. Food is top quality and beautiful. Xx

Food was delicious and plentiful. The service was superb, very friendly and attentive . We will be returning.

Absolutely spot on meal and service. Probably the best meat iv eaten. I do feel for the waitress who I stopped going down the stairs which caused her to fall on the stairs whilst holding meals in her hand. Im sure she finds it funny now. Lol

Visited the smokehouse during a weekend break to a local farm. Food was great, atmosphere was very friendly and a mention in particular to Amelia who despite being only her second shift was so attentive, helpful and cheerful :) We look forward to coming back Claire, and the ladies from Hertfordshire

My husband and I had a fabulous meal at the Smokehouse. The food was amazing,fresh,well cooked and well presented and the service was excellent,the staff were really friendly and welcoming,we will definitely be going back again.

Our meal was nice, we had a sharing platter to start and that was amazing, then our mains my partner had the Phillips dog, although it was nice, the steak on it was too chewy to eat so a little disappointing, I had the rack of Ribs and altho it was nice, I couldn't eat the end Rib as it was too chewy also, On the whole we did enjoy our meals and we will go back and try something else on the menu, the staff were very friendly, and there was a young lady who told us all about the meat and where they get it from, and how a brother and sister have made this such a lovely place to eat, the portions were huge, and reasonably priced too, we look forward to dining there again in the near future

Absolutely the best restaurant I have been to in years.. it was my partner’s birthday and he had the best meal.. the staff are wonderful especially Abbie… I will definitely be returning soon .. great value, great food, great atmosphere

Not been here a while since COVID has happened. But last night we had a great meal couldn’t fault it, food came out super quick from kitchen lovely and hot. Felt Really comfortable. Our waitress was super nice entertained the children great. Super little to be!

Overall another good and tasty meal. Felt a little rushed with the waitress pointing out the tables were booked up later in the evening as we sat down. Food came promptly but we were in and out in an hour. Can’t fault the food, really tasty.

My husband and I dined here Saturday, had seen a friend had been and the reviews were good but have to say we were a bit disappointed. I had ribs which came on a mammoth pile of fries which was far to much and the ribs were a bit tough. Hubby had the brisket which was better. We travelled out from Norwich and we’re due to go back next week with family who were going to do a 90mile round trip to there, am sad to say I’ve cancelled.

booked here for Saturday before the footie the place was packed out which shows how good this place is. Delicious food and super friendly staff. we stuffed our faces and had to take some home. we will be back for definite when the football doesn't drag us away!

Great food. Great service. Portions a bit on the large size so make sure you are hungry
