The Chequers Inn – LymingtonCame in for my grandsons birthday, my first time and found it a bit hit and miss! Quite a few dishes were cold, most of the pork was hard and dry but there were some really nice dishes too.
Spoon World Buffet and Bar – PortsmouthBeen here twice, both times we have loved everything. Definitely my favourite restaurant, Great food. Great service.
Baja Mexicali – FarehamWe had a fantastic meal at Baja Mexicali in Whiteley. First visit and it didn’t disappoint. Tasty dishes, amazing tapas, great flavours. Brilliant staff, really attentive. We’d definitely go back. Thank you!
Baja Mexicali – Fareham4 of us had a good choice of interesting food on the menu. Tasty food, well-cooked with good service and great value for money.
The Platform Tavern – SouthamptonGreat food and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend and will visit again. Thank you!
Baja Mexicali – FarehamAmazing food, amazing staff, amazing atmosphere Please go to Baja - best food!
Baja Mexicali – FarehamFood is usually pretty good and topped up, thus time however some of the chicken satay was a little undercook. Pineapple rice was not great, really undercooked and not nice. As usual only one soft drink machine working (been like that for about a year!!!!). The toilets are disgusting. One broken, one blocked, one with no lock. Really not good and has been like this for a very long time. About time they invested some money in smartening the whole place considering how popular it is. That said, staff are always friendly and welcoming. Just needs some money spending on the place
Spoon World Buffet and Bar – PortsmouthSome food was nice, some not but luckily there's a lot to choose from if you are a meat eater. I found the options for vegetarians a bit boring and not very nice. Kids loved it but as our 11yr old is over 150cm, she was full price and no way she ate £21 worth of food. Maybe there should be a price in the middle for older children. The people cleaning up were brilliant, our dirty plates were cleared almost instantly every time and any mess anyone had made seemed to be dealt with very quick too. I wont return but give it a go and see what you think. Im not a great fan of buffets so prob didnt help!
Spoon World Buffet and Bar – PortsmouthThe Chequers is a little gem, slightly out of the way but well worth seeking out. Sells beer from a local brewery and a good selection of well cooked and well priced food. Excellent service, they even charged up our phone for us. Would thoroughly recommend and would definitely return to when in the area again.
The Chequers Inn – LymingtonReally really enjoyed our dinner out here for my boyfriend’s birthday. Lovely food, lovely restaurant and lovely people serving. Huge shout out to the gentleman who served us! Thank you so much for a great dinner out! We will be back
Baja Mexicali – PortsmouthGreat atmosphere, great food and drink, service excellent and price fair fair too.

The Master Builder – SouthamptonVery good pub food with friendly service.
The Chequers Inn – LymingtonFirst visit to Baja, meeting friends for a catch up mid-week. The atmosphere is very relaxed with a Mexican twist in the soft furnishings etc. The service was prompt and polite, drinks arrived quickly after we arrived, good selection of options on the menu, we were slightly undecided and the waitress talked us through the options we were choosing between. The food was fresh, hot, very tasty and filling! We will definitely be back :-)
Baja Mexicali – FarehamAs is usual the most friendly and efficient service. Very good food and even better New Forest Ale.
