Arrived and seated quickly plenty to choose from but the food was not hot it was warm, jelly tasted very weird not the flavour as advertised, 22 pound per person for drink and food which wasn’t bad but the food needs to be hot

This was the fourth time I'd eaten here - it's perfect for us when staying at the Hurst View Campsite. The staff are very friendly - there's a happy sociable vibe and the food is tasty/hot Thank you - we will be back

All 4 of us had a great meal. My only small complaint, I felt quite cold, no heating on. Apart from that it was great.

A minor problem with our booking was quickly and efficiently dealt with. The pub was busy bu the service speedy and friendly. We both enjoyed a tasty Sunday roast with freshly cooked vegetables.

I really enjoyed my lunch here. A fantastic selection of food of many types and all that I tried were good. The place was busy (not so much when we arrived at 2pm but certainly by the time we left over 3 hours later it was) but there was plenty of space and we were never rushed. Everything was clean and tidy and service (what there was of it, mainly just clearing ‘used’ plates) was good too. I’ll definitely be going back.

We enjoyed a lovely meal yesterday. Very attentive service, with excellent food and drinks in a very pleasant conservatory setting. Not local but will definitely return if we’re in the area.

We love spoons! Great food at a fair price! I am a healthy eater and the abundance of protein and salad is great! Our daughter a gluten free fussy eater is also very much catered for.

Stopped overnight to break the journey home from a meeting in Southampton. Friendly welcome on arrival and a comfortable room. The dinner (pie of the day) was good and served promptly, but it was a quiet night. Staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast the next morning was superb. Overall, very good value for money.

Great food served promptly at a good price. Drinks a bit pricey. Quirky pub. Would recommend & we will visit again.

We had booked a table for Sunday Lunch, unfortunately even having had the reservation confirmed the day before, we turned up to find the place closed due to a fire several days before. I hope that the damage was not too bad and all are safe, but it would have been really helpful to have had them reach out to cancel bookings.

Reserved a table for Sunday lunch and arrived early, preferring to sit in the sunny garden. This was fine and very dog friendly. The staff were friendly and accommodating. My daughter had a roast chicken dinner with freshly cooked vegetables and enjoyed it, taking the spare chicken home for a sandwich later ( large portion). I had the salmon special but had to return the salmon as it was cold and uncooked in the middle. It was replaced with good grace. Good atmosphere.

We visited for the first time a few weeks ago for a large family Birthday party group and had a lovely time and couldn't wait to go back , this time it was us as a family of four , once again the food was amazing , the staff were brilliant , constantly checking , clearing used plates , there is so much choice of food and cooked and presented to a high standard , something for everyone , the restaurant has a nice atmosphere , spotlessly clean and tidy , great value for money , unfortunately there isn't a refill for soft flat drinks , (fruit shoot drinks are small and cost more ) and the card payment machine needs regular cleaning ,
