Wow I have a new favorite!! - I happened to be in Tunbridge Wells today for a business meeting and found myself slightly early and had a bit of time to kill and needed some sustenance when I spotted the frontage of Soup-urb - instantly the name made me smile (pretty cool - even superb!!) so rather than look to grab a normal sandwich or meal deal at the nearest convenience outlet I ventured in. Greeted by a smiley gentleman who was serving I asked what he recommended as I took in the varied menu. After a short conversation I took his advice and bought a meal deal - which for £5.00 gave me a generous sized homemade mug of chowder a homemade lemonade and a homemade sausage roll - well I cant rave about it enough - amazing taste and I also felt incredible value on the pocket, I will definitely be going back but unfortunately not as regularly as I would like as I am based in Surrey. Fantastic experience and wonderful food - highly recommended by me.

I just love this place, and they've even put more dining tables in the main bar now. It is expensive. But you get what you pay for. Great food, great atmos, great views, great service.

Every time we go to Folkestone our treat is to eat in Papas. Its delicious and consistently good.

I'm a regular customer at Indian Ocean as the staff are really nice and the food is great.I've tried a wide variety of their dishes and the special fried rice is to die for.

the last meal at the old willows was the last ventured in today with trepidation only to discover a whole new meaning to breakfast absolutely brilliant first class going back for lunch on Sunday thank you x

I have had the good fortune to eat here many times and i have never been disappointed by the quality and style of the food.it really is a great venue as the menus change weekly.i urge you to book well in advance as it dose fill up rather sharpish.i award this restaurant 3 rossettes.

We have been to some fantastic wine tasting evenings there. Nice freindly pub, food good. This is a nice place for a group of freinds to meet up for wine etc by the fire. The garden area is also good with children or even adults who want to sit outside , weather permitting!!!.

The shop hold a Fish and Chip Quality Award from the National Federation of Fish Friers. You can buy with confidence where you see this award.

We used to come here a while ago ,always did a great rabbit pi.e Now............ not so good, overpriced ,uninteresting,greasy mass produced ,really not very nice.

My friend and I recently visited your Inn for lunch. The food was excellent (ploughman's) and the staff very friendly - made us feel very welcome. We will certainly be visiting again.

Although the food was hot and filled the plate, the roast beef was paper thin and impossible to cut. My potato portion was less than a standard sized potato, one of my daughters was larger than the three pieces given to me. Service was slow even allowing for it being full with a large local party. I still had to wait 17 minutes for my main course plates to be cleared. It really did remind me of SCHOOL DINNERS especially with meat being so thin and rather stringy. The meat seemed to be silver side but as it was so very very thin it had no real texture the Gammon Looked OK but the Turkey had a very tinny taste as if it was not far off the turn. The toilet was embarrassing as you had to squeeze past the people in another Bar to get to the Ladies or Gents. The drinks where non to cheap with 125cc of Coke costing £1.50 and the increase in food pricing for a Sunday from £3.50 to £6.50 was not justified at £3.50 it would have been the best value for money possible even with paper thin meat and limited portions of Potato's..Staff were pleasant even if one of the waitresses did not understand Blanc means White.Visited April 2012

Exquisite meal, in beautiful English countryside.

After a brief visit to The Pavilion we were shocked at the exorbitant price charged for a lime and soda: 80p for the lime, £1.20 for the soda! I have contacted this company, but have had no explanation as to why they charge so much.

My husband and I, with our witnesses, had a wonderful post secret wedding lunch at the Mulberry Tree. All was perfect, including the weather. (Don't know how you managed to arrange that!) You made our special day even more special. Thank you so very much.

Highly recommend this venue for a special occasion - impeccable service from staff - bar staff wonderfully fast and polite - great atmosphere - fantastic food and plenty of it! Just one down for me and some of my party - the DJ needs to learn to cater for a very mixed age clientele eating here...turn down the volume a bit so people can talk while eating and choose his music more carefully for example 70's and 80's would be conducive for this venue....WELL DONE TWINS STAFF.

I visited Soup-Urb in February on a Saturday lunchtime and found it bustling, but able to seat us in a sunny window seat on some seriously retro styled benches and chairs.The waitresses were divided into those who seemed eager to be there, but busy and one who seemed desperate to be anywhere else, but was unfortunately in charge of taking our order. We were a little scared of her brusque manner!However, I ordered the soup of the day, a delicious and well-portioned soup with a sweet potato base, served hot. It came in a little ceramic pot with a plate of fresh baked bread and slightly salted butter. All were delicious. I drank a super matcha green tea smoothie which was full on yummy, although pricey!My partner had a roast pork and crackling sandwich on thick slices of home baked bread, with lashings of tasty chutneys. He loved it and has since wanted to return to re-order, but is conscious of the cost. Overall, tasty and substantial food, based on a rustic farmer's market-type concept. Would love to pop back every weekend, but the prices are a little steep for a simple sandwich or bowl of soup.

Had a lovely Afternoon Tea at The Marquis, beautiful food, superb staff, lovely relaxed atmosphere!

Very unclean in restaurant with odd and dirty cutlery in pots on tables and food scraps on floor, dirty windows, sticky tables and one of waitresses wiped her nose on tea towel used for serving food.Staff however polite and food ok.
