This is a high class cafe/coffee bar with brand new decor and friendly staff. The food is amazing and the menu is never ending. However they are extremely good value for money and a family of 4 can eat and drink and get full for under £25 no problems....
Swan Cafe – FavershamThis is a retro feel restaurant, sadly not because they mean it to be but because it is stuck in a sad time warp. The food was so unpalatable it is hard to forget. We were very disappointed as the town needs a good !! Genuine Italian restaurant.

The Acorn – BirchingtonShould be renamed BAD FOOD! That's what you get there, slimy rubber chicken and gloopy tasteless sauces, give this place a miss at all costs, to make it worse the staff are very unhelpful and miserable to say the least, avoid this 'restaurant' at all costs!!!!!
Ba Fu Chinese Restaurant – RamsgateI do NOT recommend this place at all unless all you want is basmati rice! Their curry dishes are vile, they add chili powder to your dish and you will be happily eating away then you hit dry chili powder and burn your mouth badly. Some dishes are too sugary. Try another curry house instead.

Badsha Indian Cuisine – TenterdenI visited this cafe with my family the other day, and found the decor and general ambiance pleasing. The menu is huge, with a large choice of all day breakfasts, burgers, grills, and some more traditional meals. Food was very good, staff prompt and very reasonably priced, (e.g Cappuccino £1.20) and generous portions,definitely go again :).

Venison pie spoiled by undercooked vegetables, Nice puddings. complained about quality of food. No allowance made on bill and 10% service charge added. we thought £106 for 2 course meal for 4 that was not enjoyed was also overpriced.

The Oak on the Green – MaidstoneI recommend that you steer clear of this restaurant. We have used it on many occasions over the years without a problem. When we ordered a delivery last night (14.11.09) some of the food was stone cold and the lamb bhuna was so tough that is was unedible. My wife phoned the restaurant to complain and was called a liar. She explained that we lived locally and used the restaurant quite regularly. The owner stated the following "I don't give a f*** about locals". He also mentioned that they were busy and had never had a complaint before. My rating is that the food that is hot is average and 5/10, customer service is appalling and 0/10
