The food was nice, but I think is better to be 2hours instead of 90 minutes

Booked a table for 6pm for me my partner and our three children we didn't even get to have a meal there as the queue was massive they wouldn't let anyone in even though we had booked in advance!!

Lovely cafe come restaurant with beautiful decor. We had a lovely long table to accommodate us all. The food was tasty. ( value ) and service was excellent- very polite staff. We were chatting so lost time, but at no point were staff rude. Great place to meet Great place to warm up after a long walks in the hills around - Parking not a problem-

Went to The Plough to try the food as we are getting married there next year and was very pleased! Staff were so friendly and the food was amazing… definitely going for the cheesecake for our wedding dessert!

Food was okay, great choice of different foods. Cant really say much about the staff as its help ya self. What i will say though is that 90 minutes isn't that long when your meeting with friends for food and a chat. The staff remind you while your eating that you only have so long left, we didnt get time to finish our dessert or drinks as we was told that our time was up and they where shutting that section. I could understand if they where really busy but they weren't. I think it would be better if they gave you 2 hours but thats my opinion.

Great experience. Food was fresh and hot plenty to choose from. Best part free refills. The puddings were lovely too. It was everything we loved to eat all in 1 place. Definitely recommend and will be going back.

We had a lovely breakfast here, the food was delicious but what really made it was the service from the lovely lady looking after us. Wonderful experience, will definitely return!

Good food and service

Lovely lunch at a very good price. Nice to sit outside in the beautiful garden too.

Overall was impressed by the choice of food which we all enjoyed. A little disappointed in the choice of desserts We had a good evening celebrating a 60th Birthday. The disappointing part was only being allocated 90 minutes 15 minutes of which were spent queuing to get drinks.

Mother’s Day set menu was disappointing considering I have had lunches at The Plough a few times previous. Service was poor from the young waitress asked for jug of water received glasses of water. The portions were very small most of the plate was covered with greens obviously to cover the lack of meat. Sides of vegetables would have been better.

Best BLT ever Great atmosphere

We attended our daughters birthday first of all I wanted to put the balloons on the table for her, this seemed to be a problem and sadly 3 people couldn't make it due to their baby needing to travel to London for an emergency operation, the lady in the restaurant seemed annoyed by this and gave me a lecture about tables to which I had to snap at her that it was out of my control.... The food it's self was OK not hot but warm lots of choice for all needs the restaurant was clean to the point of gleaming which was nice. The only down side was the time factor you only get 1.5 hours, I'd say 2 hours would be nice. Apart from the lady at the first point of call the experience was overall nice. Would I go back.. I doubt it.

This is a regular meeting spot with friends and always great food and service. The staff are always so lovely and friendly. The food is always Yummy. Never fails to disappoint. Love supporting this locally run business.
