Went for Mother’s Day was very busy but good always fresh and hot plenty to choose from and staff friendly would highly recommend

Always delicious,fresh food. Good gluten free options. Good service and staff friendly. Can be very busy Saturday lunchtime and small area to sit.. but cosy.

I had an excellent impromptu lunch here with a friend yesterday. The perfect shelter from the dreadful cold windy weather! We sat on a lovely corner table by the log fire, the service was so friendly and the food was amazing; steak & caramelised onion ciabatta with chunky chips on the side and a chocolate brownie with Chantilly cream for pudding (which they so kindly divided into two portions for us to share)...it was all absolutely divine. A delicious smooth glass of prosecco to wash it all down. I thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and definitely need to do it again very soon. Thank you to the Team at The Plough, we are so very lucky to have such a wonderful Pub on our doorstep. I've of course been telling everyone they must visit!

We had a lovely meal here with all our family on a Friday evening the fish and chips was superb and good value for money. Staff are extremely friendly, accommodating and helpful. Definitely be back

Unfortunately not a good experience cold dry food no change in selection waited ages to be served for the choice of what u wanted to be cooked for it to be fried to dry and slopped on plate defo won’t be coming back like a 2* all inclusive buffet

Lovely lunch with my daughter and her friend, lovely food lovely staff, nice to have such a nice place to go local.

Visited for Sunday lunch excellent food and attentive staff but unfortunately allocated a table next to the door for entrance to the lavatories. Every time the door was opened there was a resulting cold draught and as fellow diners invariably failed to fully close the door it meant regularly having to get up to secure the entrance. It was a pity the day was marred by the location of the table and lack of consideration by others.

Another excellent visit to our favourite restaurant. Everything was spot on as usual. We'll return again and again.

1st visit and experience. staff Friendly and service good but felt all a bit rushed and frantic as only one person out of 3 actually taking orders and clearing up, disappointing that no soya milk is available so unfortunately no coffee which dampered the 1st visit experience as we wanted to finish our lunch main with coffee and cake so that didn't happen also our wrap was served as wholemeal which should be shown on menu. Ive never had a wrap served as wholemeal always white and we eat out alot so another damper on our experience. Would we return sadly no as shame as they have a good menu.

We had a great lunch at Heathfields cafe. The service is friendly and the soup and fish fingers sandwich was freshly cooked, homemade and healthy and very tasty. I highly recommend this cafe.

Absolutely amazing. Good value for money Staff very helpful and friendly and polite. Lots to choose from. Very good quality food and fresh.

Had a lovely evening with friends. We've been a few times and enjoy the variety of food and the casual vibe. Plenty of choice and very reasonably priced. We will be back again soon.

I booked a table and didn't have to wait long to be seated. While there is a good selection of alcohol and soft drinks, I would like to have seen more choice of hot drinks available. Food was great but let down by poor selection of desserts.

food was lovely, so glad we booked, although the only time they had available was 8pm, and although there was lots of main food, and cooked to order, things like sushi, and desserts were very very limited. i would have liked to have had the full range of dessert and we got told they were closing soon, which gave a very rushed impression, and we were mid dessert, but we felt that we needed to leave, having said that will be going back as it was very enjoyable

Lovely dinner enjoyed by all three of us. First time at the Plough for some years but really worth the visit. Will be back! Service was good but quite a long wait for the food. Will definitely try the Sunday lunch soon.
