Lovely roast on a Sunday evening. The plough is easily walkable from Tonbridge but is in a very rural setting. It will normally have room outside but you may want to book for an inside table. The food is lovely, tasty and unpretentious, with generous portions. There is a good selection at the bar and friendly staff. What's not to like. The only thing if you don't book is to check ahead, they do weddings and may be closed for private functions.

We had a really positive experience at The Three Tuns. The food was excellent, with a menu that offered a great selection. It’s a dog-friendly pub, which was a big plus for us, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. The staff were attentive and friendly, and the service overall was great. Would definitely recommend!

The food was absolutely incredible, some of the best Thai food we’ve ever had! I wish we lived closer cause we’d be here all the time. The interior is also very beautiful and nicely decorated. Seats and tables were comfortable and roomy enough. 10/10 would definitely go again if we’re ever back in the area. Thank you for a fantastic dinner!

I would highly reccomend The Three Tuns in every category. Thank you so very much,we enjoyed a lovely family dinner our only problem being what to choose from the gorgeous menu and that days specials made it even more tempting. The service was warm and welcoming , we had plenty of time and we appreciated not being clockwatched to finish our meal and go. There was a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and the interior is lovely to be in, you can see and feel the history but enjoy the comfort of today. I am looking forward to going again now we have found The Three Tuns.

Four of us had a delicious lunch yesterday at this lovely Pub in the Kent countryside. The choice on the menu are many, with lots of exciting vegetarian meals as well as traditional pub fare. The staff were charming and attentive and we had a really good time. Thank you - we'll be back!

Had a really lovely brunch at Heathfield yesterday. Relaxed atmosphere and scrumptious food. We will definitely return soon

We came to the Three Tuns for my partner’s birthday and had a wonderful evening. The food was beautiful; well presented and plenty of it. The staff went out of their way to make us welcome and ensure that the evening was a special one. This was our first visit and we will definitely be back.

We came here for breakfast and weren't disappointed. Lovely, friendly staff and a nice selection of food. The smashed avocado on sourdough was very yummy and my husband enjoyed his sausage butty. Good portion sizes. We booked for a Saturday and were glad we did as it was very busy. Worth a visit.

Came with my daughters for my birthday. As one of my children is autistic and only 11 but tall we were asked to pay full price for her after some discussion with one of your lady’s she aloud us to pay for a child. She doesn’t eat hardly any food as tube fed. We were most disturbed when two of your male waiters where watching her every time she went up to try something as it seemed they were seeing how much she eat as it is it was mainly just sweet food. It did make us feel abit uncomfortable at times

Always a high standard of food and service here. What more could you want ! Caring staff who accommodate us so well, great ambience and a nice vibe.

Not nice people work there not nice to children

Visited on a Saturday night for my mum’s birthday. We had a warm and friendly welcome, all the staff were fantastic and the food was wonderful. A great variety and fantastic portions. Dogs are welcome in the garden and the bar area and they even have a small dog menu. Would highly recommend

Had a lovely family alfresco meal with dogs and a baby. Plenty of shade dogs very welcome outside and in the bar. Food was delicious pub grub with a bit more sophistication that one might expect. Great range of beers from ales to IPAs to lager. Several local ciders and a decent range of wine. Lovely experience.

Visited on a Wednesday lunchtime with my granddaughter. Welcomed immediately on arrival with drinks offer. The menu is varied, with small and larger meals, our order was taken and food served promptly. Feel lucky that this fab little country pub is so near home. Will definitely be returning. Another plus point is that although this isn't a huge space the tables are arranged so that there is no feeling of being on top of other diners. We were in the bar area. And there's a restaurant and a garden too! Staff seem very happy to be there.

We arrived a little late but it was no problem at all we were told it is very hot in the restaurant and gave us option of round table in the bar area which we took. Food and service was great. Thank you we will be back

The pub was very busy as it was Farther's day, but the service was excellent and the food was excellent and good size portions. I must mention the Roast potatoes as most Sunday lunches we have are not as good as home made, but they were very good.
