A welcome new restaurant in Broadstairs. Food is interesting and delicious. Great that there are no pizzas. We'll be back.

On arriva,l three of our group of seven were running late, no issues with that. We waited until they arrived before sitting at our table and kept our full allotted time slot. Five adults and two children (11 and a 13th birthday) came to an expensive £157.43 without drinks. They measured the 13 year old to just over 150cm so I accept I had to pay for six adults and one child. Not quite sure how they worked that price out unless it is more expensive on a Thursday evening. Food was reasonable with plenty of variety, but the meat was so chewy that the knives wouldn't cut through it. There was no real service to note about and a bit short on space. You have to manoeuvre your way through between chairs and tables to get food. I very much doubt any of us will go again.

Booked online about 3 weeks before..very easy to do. Arrived a few minutes early...was seen just before our table booking time. Very polite courteous gentleman at the door. Relaxed professional and polite. Was seated by a polite lady who showed our group to our table. Went and got our included soft drinks...then went up to the hot plates and selected our food. Hot, fresh, clean presented foods from all over. Chinese, Indian, roast meats, vegetarian dishes..obviously for the less adventurous there is chicken nuggets and chips type foods...but it takes all sorts. Not rushed to be out after our 90min booking. For £21, you can't find any fault. It's clean, light, airy doesn't feel crowded.. Would recommend. I've eaten at posh restaurants paying £150 a head...and I was as satisfied..i was being charged alot..expected a lot Spoons, very reasonable price and more than very reasonable food and venue.

A great pub. We went there recently to support our friend on her first music night gig there. Such a friendly pub. Amazing food too. We will definitely return.

Everything overall was OK. My partner said the chicken in all chicken dishes he had tasted was gritty and didn't taste like quality parts of the chicken. I enjoyed my vegetarian dishes very much. One other problem was the incessant banging of plates against the bin by clear up staff. Spoons should provide their staff with silicon spatulas so they can do their job quietly without disturbing the customers experience. However, once I raised the issue with the manager, the problem was resolved immediately and the manager was very kind in her approach.

This was my first visit and won't be last. Food and service was lovely. It was the hottest day of the year and the waitress was very happy to give a table outside when one came free.

Visited on Sunday 18th August 2024 for lunch. Excellent service, we were even taken to another table which was quieter and more intimate. The roast was delicious...not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. My Wife had the beef and I went for pork (the crackling was spot on)! Couldn't manage a dessert as we were stuffed! A pint of Coppernob washed it down perfectly. Then a coffee in the garden in the sunshine. Certainly recommended!
