Very good service, value for money an excellent Sunday roast, definitely will return, especially as we can walk to the Barn, an added perk.

Beautiful setting, fabulous historical Kentish pub & the food is just out of this world! We had a selection of small plates which were divine & cooked to perfection. Amazing flavours! The cocktail menu is superb & a lovely addition to find in a traditional country pub. Can’t wait to return & try the Saturday brunch, Sunday roasts & some other of the mains on offer. A definite must visit, friendly, warm & welcoming staff made it a truly wonderful visit! Thank you x

Once again we had a lovely evening at Vesuvius, excellent service, food and drinks. We can particularly recommend the Leon Italian dark ale!

My husband and I enjoyed the meal, the atmosphere and the staff were really attentive. I haven’t had a good spaghetti Vongole since I was in Sicily and the one I had last night was comparable. Lovely

Lovely welcome and great service. My partner had the cod loin which was delicious but small portion. However I had the pasta Marinara which was completely tasteless In a watery tomato sauce. Unfortunately some of the dishes on the main menu we’re not available. Not sure that we will be back.

You can't fault the staff or the food, both top drawer. Nothing is too much trouble and the food was amazing.

Food was very nice, my wife highly recommends the crab mac and cheese. The first waitress was really kind and very accommodating, but the 2nd younger waitress I suppose lacked experience, she forgot to take our starters away before bringing us our mains, didn't bring new cutlery till we asked and gave us empty condiments. More improvement points than us being negative as our whole experience was very good.

Lovely food and great service!

Superb Father's Day meal for our family of 14. Everyone from age 1 to 75 was very well looked after, dietary needs met, excellent choice of meals and all were well cooked, tasted delicious and arrived at the same time. Very impressive staff - special thanks to Luk who not only saw to our needs but kept us entertained. Thoroughly recommended.

Tasty Sunday lunch! Great menu, with many options including for kids. Reasonably priced. Garden is beautiful.
