Outstanding food and service in a traditional pub. Beef pie, best chips you'll ever have, veg, sticky toffee pudding, 2 pints of bitter. Tough to beat anywhere.

Food always lovely and the staff are always very nice. Great atmosphere in a small country pub. We always look forward to our meals there, whether it’s an evening meal or a Sunday lunch. Don’t hesitate to book!

Ate at the Pheasant on a Tuesday night in March and it was packed out. We both had the delicious venison bourgignon which was served with perfectly cooked vegetables. Portions were very generous so I didn’t get to try the desserts.

Probably my favourite pub in Keswick! Food is always great, really good selection on the menu. Service is excellent the staff always take great care of us. A must visit when in Keswick!

We have been for a meal a few times now and each time it's been absolutely beautiful!!! The service was friendly and efficient!! Perfect. Can't wait to go again! It was a real treat.

We ate here twice March 2nd & 4th 2025, both meals were excellent and well priced for what we ordered. Service was also good with the staff being polite/friendly and delivering courses in a timely manner, overall 5 stars.

An amazing find, following a recommendation from a friend. Always a very tempting menu, offering something not only local, but different. I would recommend booking your table, as a walk in, may prove disappointing.

food and service excellent as always, we have been coming to the pheasant for years and standard always the same. Just had two evening meals there on 24 and 25 feb.

First time for Sunday lunch after recommendations absolutely first class the food was amazing the staff were so friendly and welcoming the atmosphere was buzzing never seen anyone without smiles on their faces would highly recommend we will definitely be back booking a must thank you very much
