Excellent food and real ale, pleasant surroundings, friendly staff

Five of us came for lunch which we all thoroughly enjoyed. We all had starters and mains and two of us had desserts and everything was delicious and very well cooked. We have been several times before and would definitely return. The service is excellent and very friendly and the restaurant and bar is lovely.

Lovely atmosphere, great service, excellent food at a very reasonable price! Food was so fresh ,cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious! Trio of desserts was amazing-highly recommend- in fact all the food was amazing! If it was local to us we’d be regulars!

This is probably our favourite restaurant. Everything from the decor, the artwork , great service from friendly staff and the good quality well priced food makes The Lunesdale a frequent choice for us. Always an excellent and varied menu with a good selection of well priced wines and beers.

The Lunesdale Arms is one of our favourite places to eat. Wonderful food & ambience. Staff very attentive & knowledgeable. Love everything about it. Always take any friends when staying with us.

4 of us booked for 4pm dined in a pleasant friendly atmosphere. I had twice baked soufflé for starter which was very very nice and fluffy. Main course I had chicken with pasta very good. Everyone enjoyed their meals and well satisfied. We will return.

We had an absolutely lovely meal at the Lunesdale Arms Service was excellent, pleasant and polite Food was out of this world. We’re here for a few more days and plan another visit before we leave
