Kirkby Lonsdale is a historic market town located on the border between the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales on the River Lune. Famous for it's Devils Bridge - a regular meeting place for motorcyclists and it's Victorian Fair held every September. There are many dining options including pubs, tearooms and hotels.
Got wrong date,however landlord very understanding and rescheduled for us,the food was exceptional and the staff fantastic ,if we are ever nr here again would certainly be visiting again,the pub is modern and inviting thanks to all the staff at Lunesdale Arms 5* from us
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleHad a lovely meal here Saturday 16th September early evening. Great atmosphere on arrival and were shown to our table quickly. We asked for a quieter spot and they managed to get us a table in the snug which was appreciated. Three of us had the tempura prawns which were delicious and our remaining party had the bruschetta which was very good. Mains were two wild mushroom and spinach pasta dishes, one mussels and one sea bass. All excellent and served promptly after our starters, also drinks topped up efficiently. Overall a great evening in a lovely restaurant. Easy to book online with choice of times.
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleTook friends for Sunday lunch. Our booking wasn't until 2pm and the beef option was unavailable which was a shame. Otherwise we had a fabulous time. The food was delicious and the staff were lovely. Would definitely go again.

The cost was really reasonable too. Very good value. This was my first visit but will definitely go again. Well worth it!

We would respectfully suggest that chef consider replacing the crushed veg vegan burger with a plant based burger. My wife and daughter are vegetarian not vegan so requested cheese on the burger for which they were charged £2 for the privilege, but we hope be back soon.

Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleWhat a fabulous place! Gorgeous food, lovely staff and such a stylish pub! Very cosy and welcoming but really nicely done, looks fab and feels very elegant. Really adds to the atmosphere. Shame we were only up on holiday or we’d come all the time! Good choice of food on the menu. Kids went for pizza which was very good. I had the sea bass linguine which was absolutely divine. Not too badly priced either. Hoping we’re up that way again soon!
