This restaurant is amazing!!It is very welcoming .The staff are very friendly, the food is delicious and good value. The extensive menu includes from steak to pizza. Everything freshly cooked. I like the fresh crab at certain times of the year. The cauliflower fritters are delicious! You can splash out or have an economical meal. Great for a meal with children or a romantic meal for two! It has a wonderful ambiance, a stylish artistic interior with beautiful artefact's. Its also very clean . Lovely to sit outside in the summer too!

Excellent service, choice and food as usual at the Lunesdale. Great atmosphere fab place

We had a large family meal at The Lunesdale Arms. The food was spectacular, the team looked after us really well and the place had a great feel and atmosphere.

Best seafood linguine ever! From a self confessed food snob. The service was both friendly and good. We were a group of 8 , all food timed to perfection . A beautiful country pub with a very farrow and ball feel. We will be back

Lovely atmosphere, fab food

I had a lovely lunch with friends. The atmosphere was very calm and relaxing. The food was delicious. Added to that the staff were friendly, attentive and very professional. What a wonderful place to eat.

Excellent Sunday lunch. We booked for 2.15pm but the roast beef had sold out so we had roast pork which was delicious. Great with our dog ! It was a very cold day and we were a little chilly at our table. Would have been better with the little electric fire stove had been on.

I was lucky enough to be taken there for my 50th birthday, although it wasn't our first time there it was superb as usual. Started off with two very agreeable negronis and followed up with starters and mains, then finished off with coffee. The atmosphere was great, busy but not overly noisy. The service was very good, and although I wish I opted for a different main course (the burger wasn't really to my taste), everything was top notch and the bill surprisingly reasonable for such a nice place to eat. It would have been nice to see some specials or a slightly wider (or updated) menu, but what they do, they do really well. Highly recommended.

Our favourite place to eat and meet friends. The food is incredible, imaginative and always 5 star. You will find the most friendly, welcoming staff. Can’t recommend it highly enough. X

Brilliant as always. So consitent and reliable.

Met with a friend and had a really lovely meal. Great service too. Decor is lovely and reasonably priced. We enjoyed the Simply Red and UB4O best of compilations too. No extra service charge added on which is rare nowadays. Will return when next in the area.

Fabulous food and service

I had an excellent meal here yesterday. Service was attentive but not overbearing. Good value. Only 4/5 for atmosphere because I felt the music was a bit too loud for a restaurant and it was rather cold.

A superb way to start 2024 Tremendous selection of starters, main courses and deserts served by extremely efficient and courteous waitresses. Although the dining room was extremely busy the table was set and prepared for the pre-booked time. As soon as we were seated a waitress presented and explained to us the various lunch menus with a request if anyone would like any pre-lunch drinks We were given ample time to choose the options available and orders were given for starters, main courses and selected wines The quality of all the food choices was more than our expectations considering the pressure the kitchen staff must have been under and I have no hesitation in recommending this establishment to others We will be back in the near future to once again enjoy the excellent food and drink

We went for lunch on New Year’s Day. There were three menus and so an extensive choice of dishes. We both had three courses. Each dish was lovely, well-presented and beautifully cooked. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were both very impressed and will return for our next special occasion.
