Never been to the venue before but it was in the middle of where all the family live and we met their of a family gathering everything was good, friendly staff helpful service good with a good menu with plenty of choice which resulted in a lovely meal. Thank you

Another excellent lunch with friends. Halloumi kebabs from the grill menu were delicious. Great value, efficient friendly service makes the Lunesdale the best option by far.

After an absence of many years, decided to make a return visit for Friday evening dinner. Absolutely superb in every detail - the food, the service, the premises. Will we return? Definitely.

We had a lovely Sunday lunch at the Lunesdale Arms. The staff were super helpful and friendly and the food was amazing. The lamb was incredibly tender and succulent and the fresh, not over cooked, vegetables were delightful. Really pleasant meal out and dog friendly. We'll definitely be back.

Went for lunch, had the Chicken Milanese while my partner had the braised lamb. Both dishes very good, the battered chicken breast exceptionally moist. Both plates cleaned!Service was excellent. Although we live around 40 miles away we have visited the Lunesdale three or four timed a year for many years now, and pleased to say that the high standards originally set by Andy and his team have been maintained under the present ownership.

It's not the average restaurant - I loved it. We read the reviews and they were not wrong. I order the Chefs Scotch Egg to start and then the Seafood Chowder which I can honestly say was superb. My wife ordered the Cheese Burger from the grill where you could actually taste the meat! We shared the Sticky Toffee Pudding with ice cream again excellent. We left very full and very happy. I can't recommend this place enough - the staff were attentive, friendly and professional. We will be back. Thank you

Meal for two. Had a beautiful chicken dish recommended by server, and fish pie. Lots of flavour and the desserts were equally delicious. Servers were friendly and efficient. Recommend this pub!

When we ate here it was very busy but the two girls working were very efficient and had a very pleasant manner. The four of us all had different dishes which were all excellent and very good value for money

Superb restaurant. We had a fabulous evening meal at the Lunesdale Arms. There were 6 of us and every one of agreed that it was probably one of the best meals we've had and good value, so much so, our friends booked again for the next evening....sadly we had to go home that day, so missed out. The young lady that served us was so accommodating, nothing was too much trouble for her, even though she was alone serving. We look forward to dining there again when next in the area. We loved it!

My wife and I enjoyed a delicious meal here last night. The two staff on duty were welcoming and customer focused. Although the restaurant was quiet at first it soon filled up creating a good atmosphere. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her crusted plaice and my fish and chips was also tasty as we're our starters. We can highly recommend this restaurant.

Superb in every way, from confirmation and reminder of booking, to greeting, service and quality of food. A little gem.

The Lunesdale never fails to please. Excellent food, service ambience and surroundings. Not cheap but worth it.

I rarely leave reviews when asked but in this case I'll make an exception. My first meal at The Lunesdale Arms will definitely not be my last. It was exceptionally good and the staff were lovely.
