Staff are very friendly and helpful, it was busy so we did have a delay but was was lovely. Great energy and a lovely place to go.

I visited on a Sunday, early afternoon with a friend. We found the place cold, nearly had to put our coats back on!. We both had the Sunday dinner with starters, pate. . None! garlic mushrooms had to share one portion, but was free of charge. Not over excited about the food. Overall experience a bit amateur. Would not recommend to family or friends

A great place, clean and welcoming with great staff. We all really enjoyed our food, especially the flat breads. M friend said ot was the best burger he had ever had x we will be returning x

This is our special occasion restaurant, our last visit was with our daughter, grandkids and meeting her new chap for her birthday. The steaks are absolutely fantastic (poor grandkids didn't know what they were missing. Its a quirky place where every chair and table is different which just adds to the atmosphere. The only thing stopping us from staying at the hotel is we only live 10 miles down the road in the Beautiful forest of Bowland. Free birthday drink for our daughter too. Would definitely recommend it

Took our grandson for early evening meal on Saturday 21stDecember 2019. The service was excellent and the food was fantastic. They made our Grandson some chicken pesto which was not on the menu but his favourite which was lovely of them. Very attentive. Will definitely visit again soon.

Food was great, we had 2 pizzas. panelled and fried fish, everything was delicious snd I had one of the best pizza so far in uk. The atmosphere was lovely, there was live music and the staff as well was very attentive. Would definitely recommend and come back!

This was our first visit and will definitely be coming back very soon. The welcome was great, staff efficient and pleasant and swift with our drinks and taking our orders. The food was excellent and of a very high standard. The place is decorated to a high standard and a lovely warm feeling to the place overall excellent venue .

Lovely food and atmosphere at reasonable prices. Good size portions served with a smile. Found this online when looking for a bite to eat on way back home from Lake District. Would definitely make an effort to try it out.

We came on our Xmas do last Friday 28 of us. Sat upstairs staff friendly and efficient however a couple of issues that we felt worth a mention. The cost per head was £24.99 and we felt a bit steep for what we got food/drink wise compared to the normal menu. Our cabaret was changed from a comedian/singer to a DJ on the night for some reason but more importantly than that which is worth a mention was the fact that all and sundry can come upstairs regardless of whether they have paid £24.99 or zilch and be allowed to sit amongst the private parties ? A couple of our group went to the loo and came back to find a group of lads sat at their table? Maybe have a private section for functions? Just a thought? Surely when you have paid extra there should be extra perks?

Been here 3 times now. Food is beautiful, tried a variety and all has been fantastic. Cocktails are lovely and are strong and great quality, a lot of effort put in. The only thing I could possibly say is the arrival of food as it sometimes comes in bits and bats when we asked for it to come all together even if we have to wait longer. Will definitely be going back and I recommend to everyone.

Interesting menu, lovely food, very friendly service, but rather slow as restaurant was completely full. Be prepared to wait and enjoy! Will definitely be returning.

Service was poor and we struggled to get staff attention so we didn’t spend as much as we might if we’d managed to get more drinks.

We visited the restaurant for my son's 16th birthday. The food was delicious & hot, with a great choice available from the menu. The atmosphere was lively & the waiting staff were friendly & helpful. It was a wonderful evening enjoyed by all.
