Tiger Lounge – RawtenstallFab food, fab drinks and fab service :) would definitely recommend
Astoria – BurnleyAs always a lovely meal with great vegan and vegetarian options. Would definitely recommend. It’s a great asset to Fulwood.
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonWe had a lovely lunch at The Red Pump Inn, yesterday. The rib eye steaks were delicious and perfectly cooked, just as we’d ordered. We also had pudding which was equally delicious, followed by good coffee. The atmosphere was warm and friendly and service good. I hope they light the fire in the dining room as the colder weather arrives, which will also add to the ambiance of the restaurant. SB
The Red Pump Inn – ClitheroeLovely night at Ninos the service was excellent. The staff looked after my Mum and made us all comfortable. Delicious food!
Fighting Cocks Inn – BurnleyLovely atmosphere and food. Customer service was great- the restaurant had closed and as a group we sat chatting without realising this. The waiter was so gracious about us being there longer than we should’ve been so a big thank you to him! We will definitely be back.

Fighting Cocks Inn – BurnleyOn behalf of a group of 8 who ate here I would like to say "Thank You" for providing a good menu, good service, and excellent food.
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonSecond visit this time with my 2 sisters. We really enjoyed the excellent food and friendly, helpful service. Tried the pizza this time and it was delicious. Went midweek so it was a bit quieter than our Saturday visit. Enjoyed it just as much.
Astoria – BurnleyHad a fantastic night here! Our food and drinks were amazing and staff amazing also. Definitely recommend.
Tiger Lounge – RawtenstallThe food is lovely and on Wednesday with 30% off you can't beat it. We have been on various days and times but always find the staff rushed and not able to stop, chat and talk through the menus and cocktails.
Tiger Lounge – RawtenstallThis is a lovely pub with log fires, cosy nooks and delicious food. I don't drink beer but the gent at the next table told me they have a great selection! Very friendly staff too. We stayed in the old Post Office which was beautifully decorated and huge compared to most places. Downham is a really pretty village at the foot of Pendle Hill, famous for its witches and magic. We will be back to climb the hill. Just not at night!
Assheton Arms – ClitheroeLovely lunch post Pendle Hill ascent. The wee man had a sausage mash and peas, pleased to see the pork was free range! I had an open sarnie, salmon an prawn. Both were demolished. Good quick table service too!
Barley Mow – BurnleyFood, service & ambience excellent! My husband had the 3 course lunch menu, which was fantastic value for money and did not suffer from any drop in standard from the normal menu. My steak Canadian was cooked to perfection and served with the best chunky chips in Lancashire. Washed down with a lovely glass of wine (for me) and a Spanish beer (for him), it was the perfect venue for Friday lunch on a rare day off together. We will be returning for our next one :-)!
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonBooked the table online, on arrival very impressed with smartness of staff and decor, first course really nice, second course came, had to send vegetables back, they were cold, my York shire pudding was burnt, surely the chef, or who was assisting him should have noticed the state of the food on my plate, or even the waitress when bringing the food to the table.
3 Millstones Inn – ClitheroeFirst visit since the huge new bar-lounge was added in front. Very impressive and it was needed too as the old bar did tend to get a bit crowded. Great atmosphere as always and a wide choice of both food and wine. The fact that this place is huge, well off the beaten track and always packed tells you all you need to know really.
Italian Orchard – PrestonNot an area I’m familiar with at all but after a Sunday walk in the country near Arkholme we stopped off for a quick beer and a snack here at The Red Well Inn. There were plenty of customers tucking into a Sunday lunch which looked good but we just shared chips, cheese and pulled pork. Recently refurbed I think and they have rooms here too if you fancy staying over.
The Redwell Country Inn and Restaurant – CarnforthMy husband 2 friends and I ate at the Ginger Bistro Friday 18th October and the food was amazing. Only problem was the beef bourguignon my husband had which he said was delicious was a small portion for a man. We will be returning very soon.
