Slice Of Sicily – PrestonWe have visited the Hinds Head several times over recent years and always had a good experience. The service and quality of the food has always been excellent and good value for money. On our most recent visit we enjoyed the lunchtime fish & chips and the fillet of sea bass - both well presented and tasty. My only minor comment is that the lunchtime menue doesn't seem to be quite as extensive as it once was - I realise they are trying to keep prices down but maybe to have a couple of lunchtime 'specials' would add a bit more interest to the offer.
The Hinds Head at Charnock Richard – ChorleyAbsolutely love this place. 6 of us went for the early bird menu on Saturday - food was excellent, all freshly made and piping hot. The 2for1 cocktail deal is also an added bonus. Always find the staff very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back.
Slice Of Sicily – PrestonWe thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Astoria. The pasta dishes both myself and my husband had were the tastiest we have had in any Italian restaurant! The staff were attentive and very friendly. Loved the decor and music too, felt like we were on holiday in Italy. Would highly recommend. Prices good too!
Astoria – BurnleyOur party of four had an early afternoon Lunch at the Ginger bistro. Everyone enjoyed the meal, it was excellent value and good service. The restaurant closes around 3:00 so if you are planning a lunch visit Don't arrive later than about 1:30. However we sat and chatted long after service had finished and weren't rushed at all.
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonHow good to support a community enterprise- and to find such great company, service and food to boot!
The Dog Inn – BlackburnThe Steak is awesome!
The Red Pump Inn – ClitheroeWe booked online for Sunday lunch. The restaurant was busy - as expected- so there was a slight delay before the main course arrived. We didn't see this as a problem, as we don't go out to eat if we are in a rush. More importantly, all the staff were excellent and clearly well trained in providing good service. As for the food, we could not fault a thing- perfectly cooked and presented. We will be back asap!!
The Red Pump Inn – ClitheroeMy wife and I have been many times on the last twelve months and enjoyed both the drinks and the food. The Canal Turn us a credit to Bill and Victoria.
The Canal Turn – CarnforthLovely venue. Food was amazing - I want to marry the chef! Had feta and red onion garlic bread then fillet steak stroganoff. Even the coffee was lovely, Service was very attentive and pleasant. I will 100% be going back, If I had to find fault I just didn’t find the chairs comfortable but this wouldn’t deter me going again.
The Hinds Head at Charnock Richard – ChorleyWarm friendly welcome, supurb service, delicious food. Highly recommended!
The Hinds Head at Charnock Richard – ChorleyFirst visit and won’t be the last. It was very busy but the service was excellent. The food is fresh so there was a little wait but that wasn’t a problem, especially as it was delicious and beautifully presented. A little gem in Charnock Richard.
The Hinds Head at Charnock Richard – ChorleyI am afraid we didn’t have a very good experience. Visited for a late Sunday lunch. Staff were friendly and took our order. Starter arrive which was ok but after an hour we had to chase up the main course. There was a mix up in the kitchen for which they apologised and they took the main courses off the bill. Staff should have realised we had been waiting much sooner. Very average
The Red Pump Inn – ClitheroeFantastic food lovely staff highly recommend
The Dog Inn – BlackburnA horrid wet Sunday greatly improved by a wonderful lunch at the Dog Inn. We were welcomed very warmly on arrival. Pre lunch drinks were sorted and we enjoyed them whilst going through the menu. Both of us decided to choose 3 courses from the Sunday lunch menu. They were all delicious and well presented. Have booked to go again next month!
The Dog Inn – BlackburnWe visited for a family birthday. Two of our party are Vegan the waitress took a lot of time to discuss the meal and we all loved it. We weren’t hurried and we all enjoyed the food service and environment. Well done to all
Slice Of Sicily – PrestonWe decided to go to the red pump to celebrate a birthday, the food was excellent and the atmosphere was great. The steaks were as good as expected and we will certainly be back !
