Langroyd Hall Hotel – ColneFood exceptionally good, great value for money and presentation exellent. I have dined there twice, I am taking my two older grandchildren there for a birthday treat and will be a regular visitor in future. Tess
Yu Yuan City Chinese Restaurant – St HelensWhat a load of rubbish - pls post me as a bad review.
Sensible Sandwiches – PrestonThe best value best food. Service bit slow but well worth the wait, food on time but kept taking cutlery away and had to ask 4 more spoons more forks. Would recommend going back 4 sure .k.
Shapla Restaurant – BurnleyBrilliant staff, and food is fantasic worth a vist and worth every penny.
Mr Elephant – St HelensBeen going for some time now and taking family at first great but recently portion sizes have gone down drasticly. Order the fish and chips, used to be excellent . now less fish , more batter had several people say the same . CAREFULL GREY MARE YOU ARE GOING TO LOSE WHAT WAS A GOOD THING
Grey Mare Inn – BlackburnFriendly, efficient service. Good quality food and always fresh .... Generous portions too... Sometimes there is a bit of queue but it's worth the wait
Andreas Fish and Chip Shop – PrestonI was very disappointed with this restaurant. I found it very expensive especially for the amount of food you got. I asked for my main course to take away and when I got home the amount of food, let alone chicken in it was miserable and actually looked like I had eaten half of it.. Will definitely not be returning for a second disappointment.
Trishna Indian Tandoori Restaurant – ClitheroeI did not like the demand for me to leave my credit card behind the bar because others left without paying. Also portions seem to be child sizes.
The Palatine Cask Ale Bar – MorecambeWe eat out here almost every saturday evening .
Edisford Bridge Hotel – ClitheroePoor staff, rude and disorganised! Do not order anything that isn't pub food. Tried the "Thia green noodles" absolutely awful. Waiter could clearly see a full plate of food left and did not ask how the meal was. not even a check up during the meal. Paid for a meal that was not eaten and took ages to come. Went with a friend who's a manager of a well known pub/restaurant in preston, will not being going back!
The Lock & Quay – ChorleyBest bar in preston, great for private paries!
FORUM – PrestonOne of the best Indian dining experiences I've had in a while. Maximum attention is given to making the customer is happy, food service is swift but most of all the quality and taste of the food is worth returning for over and over again. Of course, let's not forget - prices are very fair considering the generous portions and the lengths taken to present the food elegantly. Bravo!
Double Tree Indian Restaurant – Clitheroewe came with high expectations as we went to quattro's who mezzos used own quite alot, to our dismay it felt too posh and overrated for what it was. For starters i had the scallops on the special menu which really nice, But then i had suckling pig at £18.95 when it came all i got was bits of belly pork in a rosemary gravy, my partner and her friend had risotto my partner had seafood and wasn't even served a hot water bowl to clean her hands from shelling the prawns. I noticed some chefs from Quattro's which was a nice surprise. The host stefano was quite rude and full of himself to say the least. I will return but only to see if any improvement has been made.
Mezzo Restaurant & Bar – PrestonWonderful experience, Menu, Food, Staff, Ambience, Cleanliness and Hygiene all excellent can't wait to visit again.
Aroma Asian – BurnleyFood was superb, easily the best indian in Burnley. a little expensive on the extras ie drinks and sundries.
Shapla Restaurant – BurnleyThis place is nirvana, lovely people, fantastic food and 1st class service. I have had many indian meals in many cities but this place is the best I have ever been to and the prices are breathtaking. You get the best of both worlds here, quality food and very low prices. The house wine was excellent as well and for a restaurant very well priced. This place sets the standard for others to beat. Make a visit to this marvellous restaurant, you wont be disappointed, I was astounded.
Hamadan – LongridgeWent to view a menu with a view to returning for lunch today. It seemed a nice place. BUT, the lady that was outside tinkering in a car (the owner?) spoke to us like we were about the rob the place. The way she spoke to my fiance and I was rude and insulting. She put us off ever returning again. We only strolled across to see what time it was opening at and to see if a menu was on display but we were told its shut and no menus were on display, her tone was dreadful, we left in a hurry. Don't think we'll ever go back there again!!!!
